I too have been caught by this scam.

Following the EDP article I have spoken to T-Mobile who offered me ½ price line rental, and Kiss FM(Vibe) who were actually helpful.
I have also been in touch with the lady in the EDP article.

I have considered the small claims court route, but guess that if they have gone bust there will be nothing to gain, but further expense.

I too have been scammed and decided to ring Watchdog about it. I suggest all of you do the same, because the more of us there is, the better chance we have of getting this sorted out.

I really hope this does get resolved!

Hi again.

Just managed to get T-mobile to cancel my contract at the 3rd attemp. It really does depend on who you speak to. Before cancelling they offered 50% then 60, 70 and finally 100 % discount on monthly fees, with me only paying for call usage. ( i declined all offers as T-mobile reception is patchy at best in my area, making the phone worthless anyway).

In total i have paid £140.00 out in monthly fees, and only ever received 1 cheque for £35.00 back in return. I will now persue Vibe/Kiss for the remaining £105.00 and some form of compensation. Like everyone else here, I won a radio competition and i would like to see a prize of some sort as a result.

I will let people know how i get on with Kiss.

hi there, i have had the same problem but i got my contract with vodafone, did anyone else get their contract with vodafone? i have spoken to kiss today and apparently someone from vodafone has requested names and numbers of listeners involved, if you want to ring her, her name is sally standing-01284715300, when it gives you a list of options pick the last one.

Hi I'm another winner/losser of the same copmetition. I have been bombarding OFCOM, Watchdog, Trading Standards Local News papers and GMTV. As I don't think that radio station are that interested as they never return my calls.
Has anyone complained to either of these companies and I think you should. The more people complain the better it will be. Let me know how you get on.
