Hi If you mean Roast potatoes, yes you can, Just par roast them then freeze. I've done this before and it works. Don't forget you can buy frozen ones in the supermarket.
PURPLEPRINCESS You could also make potato croquets (think thats how you spell it.) mash potatoes then shape the mashed spuds into cylinder shapes, coat in flour, then beaten egg and then roll in breadcrumbs.
Freeze then use within 1 month. Fish cakes are made the same way using either tinned salmon or tuna, you can put parsley in the mashed potato mix then proceed as with the potato croquets. must dash now as the Dog needs a wee. demented.20p savers club

I tend to make potato bread and freeze it in batches. My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

It's dead easy. Basically boil and mash potatos, season, (I tend to add some mustard too) then knead in as much self raising flour as the mixture will handle. It's not an exact science because it depends on how floury or waxy your potatos are, it will take more flour than you think. Roll out the dough to about 8mm thick, cut into managable slabs. Then put in the oven at 200oC for about 15-20 mins or until golden. It's so nice straight out of the oven covered in butter. My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

I would make a load of potato boats with them, they can be frozen and keep really well.
Micowave the potatos, cut in two, scoop out the middles and mix with marg, cheese and bacon (if you want), refill the potato skins and add grated cheese to the top. Freeze once cooled.
When you're ready for them defrost and cook in the oven for about 20 minutes until the cheese is golden. Mmmm lovely.0 -

I freeze them after they've been baked. Traditionally in Ireland we eat them toasted for breakfast or fried with a fry up. However I also serve them as a carb substitute such as covering in garlic butter and served with a chicken breast. My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

They should keep anyway as if you think about it ,potatoes last the year round if kept in a cool dark place.
You could make chips to freeze though, they must be freezable or you wouldn't be able to buy them in the frozen food department.0 -
I would plant the potatoes and have lots more potatoes when you do need themI came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.0
