Yeah i agree its nice to be warned:-)
I have a thing about eyes *shudder* and when i have my contact lense checks i just hate it when they turn your eyelids inside out to check underneath _pale_
If they did that to me without warning me i would probably be sick in their lap:rotfl:
I've done a couple of mystery shopper type things for opticians - basically you are the test subject for exams - and they always do the flippy up of the eyelid bit.
It is not comfortable - and if you get one who can't quite get it right or is too nervous then OMG does it hurt
I had one poor girl who seemed to be terrified - even I could tell she had failed and it was a re-takeI had one he!! of a bruise after she'd been at me
When I had my last contact lens check with my own optician I asked him if they were going to do it and he said they generally don't unless they have seen something in the other tests (like the puffy eye test) that warrants itThankfully I didn't need it done :T

So far I have learnt from this series....
- Sofa shops have lots of meaningless promotions
- Mobile phone shops have staff who talk about things you don't really understand
- Estate agents bend the truth about their properties
You mean you have watched more than one programme ? You have my sympathies ..........:D:D0 -

Well, hold the front page!
And she "solves" the problems by having the owner spend loads of money to change the layout of the shop.
I don't care if the product is overpriced and of poor quality, and the straff members are arrogant, as long as I get to sit in a comfy chair and the walls are painted a pretty colour.0 -

I think your second item could just as well read: "- Mobile phone shops have staff who talk about things they don't really understand"There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0
