    You reckon one of these offers would be 'out of bounds' to anyone who already has a CapOne card, then? (Especially one who's still getting 1% cashback on it...!)

    After reading some of the small print -
    On the 15 and 18 month forms it says -
    If you have applied for a Capital One card in the last six months your application may be declined.
    If you already have a Capital One card please do not re-apply.
    Applicants must be aged 21 or over and resident in the UK and receiving an income of more than £10,000 per annum.

    On the 9 months one it says -
    If you have applied for a Capital One card in the last six months your application may be declined.
    If you already have a Capital One card please do not re-apply.
    Applicants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the UK. (no mention of income limit)

    Hope that info helps

    Well I thought it best to go straight to the horses mouth so to speak rather than rushround to newsagents etc. Rang Cap1 (0800) and was told that they could not put a better rate on my xisting card but if I wanted to cancel this card & apply for new one on the phone I could do that. & have 0% for 18 months.
    Can't think now why I didn't actually do it there & then!!! Talk about Senior Moments

    Just found a 18 month 0% form in classics mag (it's a car mag). :D
    wife spent ages looking though all the mags in sainsburys. :o
    This seems to be via application form attached to the offer only, not via the web.
    Anyone stoozing, did you fill out the BT request on the form or wait for the card to come though first? Should I state I want £15k BT to egg or wiat and see what they offer me:confused:

    I must say I am excited about joining in with this hunt!!!

    Was in a mainline London railway station this afternoon where there is a large branch of WHSmith. Discreetly flicked through a number of different mags and found the 12 months 0% on BTs (only) offer in a copy of "Delicious" magazine. I extracted the flyer and quickly went through the other copies of the same magazine to pull out a few more.

    T&Cs: basically, as another poster mentioned before, you need:

    1. to be 21 & over and resident in the UK;
    2. to be receiving an income of over £10K per annum;
    3. not to have applied for a Cap1 during the last 6 months; and
    4. to apply before 1 August 2005 when the offer expires.

    BT fees are charged at 2% of balance trasferred, subject to a maximum fee of £50. Credit limit up to £25K. No mention of whether Cap1 might NOT charge this handling fee during the first few months of operation of one's card. So I assume that it is definitely chargeable.

    Personally, I could do with this offer when my current BTs' 0% offers expire in June. Though I wonder if I should hold out for the 15 and/or 18 months offer? Anyway, I will hold on to the flyer until July to see if I could get a better offer.

    In the meantime, if the 12 mths offer is any good to anyone, I have 3 spare flyers. Please PM if you would like one of them.

    Happy searching/hunting MSE folks!

    Hi All,

    I've just got my Capital one Platinum Mastercard with 9 months % on Bt's and 3 Months on purchases. Was totally unaware they have 15 and 18 month deals about. The 9 months BT offers are in out mail on saunday papers mostly (Cambrisgeshire). Nine months is fine for me so can't complain and got a high credit limit.
    if i had known then what i know now

    Have sent off my application and look forward to the response with interest. Will post the credit limit details. Anyone else please do the same as I'd be interested to see how high/low these will be.

    Happy stoozing everyone!
