You change your bedding every two days??? That's 15 times a month :eek::eek::eek::eek:
Whilst driving along in the car today I heard on the radio that 1 in 20 people think its ok to change the bedsheets 3 times a year. My OH and I stared at each other in amazement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
The wearing pantyliners all the time thing is a bit of an eye opener. It seems unusual to me, I have half a mind to ask my female friends if they do it...but I won't (nor my male friends). Don't you find them uncomfortable and chafey?
Because they have that "wick away liquid from the surface" technology like disposable nappies, they are more comfortable than a damp gusset.:o:DNot everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

Haha love this thread
My stats:
underwear/socks - fresh daily
Work clothes - I work in an office, and I have about 6 different outfits (I don't own many clothes really!) so each outfit normally gets worn once a week. Skirts and dresses are hung up back in my wardrobe after wearing and normally get worn 2 or 3 times before washing unless they get something spilt on them. Tops get folded and back in the drawer.
I get changed pretty much straight away when I get home from work, work clothes put away and dressing gown goes on for the eveningDressing gown then gets washed once a month, again unless it gets obviously dirty.
On weekends I pretty much live in a pair of skinny jeans, these get washed every couple of weeks (unless... you've guessed it!). The various tops and hoodies I wear with said skinny jeans get worn for the weekend and then washed at some point.
Gym clothes get washed after every wear. Bed linen and towels are done once a week.
I shower daily, don't sweat much, and my husband has never complained that I'm smelly so I don't see the problem in clothes being worn more than once between washes. I agree with life being too short to be chained to a washing machine!:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

I think like others have said its not necessary to throw everything in the wash at one wear (especially if you have kids), but I can't do a second day with tops and tshirts, they need to be clean everyday. Jeans I can go days and also cardigans and jumpers only when they look/smell unclean. Bedding is usually every Friday but if I have lots and lots of washing I can just about tolerate 2 weeks. Bath towels/robes get done every 2/3 days hand towels everyday.
I have noticed that I am washing and ironing my teenage daughter's clothes which I have never seen her wear! On investigation it turns out that she is trying things on, deciding she doesn't want to wear it, throws it straight on the floor, which then gets picked up and put in the laundry basket . Parents of teenagers beware!0 -
My husband sometimes pops a thick jumper on for a few hours then puts it in the wash  I sniff it (it usually still smells of washing powder) & hang it back up
I've heard of lots of people with kids doing the same thing too.
