Before I got pregnant, I used to have a massive sweet tooth and didn't really like savory foods that much.
It's the complete opposite now!
I look in the sweets cupboard and I just don't want any of it. Would much rather have bread, coleslaw, potato salad, pasta etc now!
I have a craving for humbugs but whenever I eat them, they make me feel more nauseous.Do not like! It's hard having a craving for something and then it making you feel worse!
I've gone off of tea too but I'm guessing that's a good thing because before tea was pretty much the only drink I would drink. Now I'm drinking alot more water and not getting as dehydrated as I used to.2019 Wins

I think you do crave carbs in the first months - I certainly did. I ate chips and spuds all day long. As things have progressed I've developed a sweet tooth (but luckily mostly for fruit) and my thoughts have turned recently to salads. You go off carbs mainly because they bulk you up and give you massive indigestion. If I ate a plate of chips now I'd get potato-chest and wouldn't be able to sleep."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
I am the same as LM, I had such sweet tooth now completely opposite. I crave proper food such as meat and veggies. I also used to have a can of coke everyday but I have gone off completely at week 5, haven't had any since than. It's very strange. I also feel really full after half of the meal I have eaten, I can't overeat anymore.
I have my scan tomorrow Ladies, I am terrified and excited at the same time! 12.45 p.m can't come soon enough!0 -

Good luck for your scan Kavics. xx we are thinking of you. please let us know how it went. xx hugs
last night when i went home, i got a letter and thought it was an appointment letter for the midwife. i snatched it off DH to find it was my maternity exemption certificate. i was happy but disappointed too. why does it take ages to sort out an appointment with a MW?i dont know how i will be able to wait for a scan one too!!!
also when i got home, i was so bloated and my belly felt like i had eaten a massive meal, which i hadnt. has anyone felt like that where they feel they have eaten and yet they havent. i felt very uncomfortable.i made some chick peas and rice and then couldnt eat it. had toast before that. before bed i had 3 rice crackers. had some random dreams again too.
i am so cold and miserable today. i really cant stand this weather!!!Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I have posted this on the other PG thread but thought I'd offer them here too:
Hi everyone. Does anyone live near Birmingham? I have won two tickets from The People to the baby show at the NEC (18-20 May). I don't feel up to travelling that far at the moment and if I'm honest, I was after the first prize which was hundreds of pounds of baby gear!
***Now gone to a good home thank you! ****
If anyone wants them, please PM me.
Thanks,
