Rups I am sure all will be fine.

If you are worried about your oven you can get people in to clean it. I did recently not very mse though.

Rups honey - you're going to drive yourself crazy if you're not careful.

Small things like oven smoke and facial creams and stuff really won't have any effect on the baby at all.

They will have an effect on you and your blood pressure tho if you continue to stress over every little thing.

I'm not saying that its easy being pregnancy hun - especially after a loss - as you have more awareness on the bad feelings and sadness etc if it was to be taken away from you.

Have you talked it through with a midwife or a doctor? All the anxiety you are going through with the pregnancy is going to take its toll on you.

You are doing all you can. If you are not drinking alcohol, taking drugs, smoking, or participating in dangerous sports or activities - then thats the best you can do.

Babies can die, which is very sad. But if they do die - then its not going to be beacuse of anything you did or didn't do.

If you think of where they came from - a teeny tiny little egg, and an even tinier little sperm - they have sooooo much to go through. There is obviously going to be a lot of stages where things can go wrong within that process - and natures way of dealing with things that go wrong is usually that the baby will die. There is just nothing at all you can do about this.

Pregnancy is a little miracle. I think you should try your best to enjoy it, and try your best to overcome the anxiety. Like I say - maybe speak to a professional about it as it does seem to be quite bad for you. You saw your lickle blob - it has a lovely strong heartbeat. Have faith huney - things will work out ok in the end.

Hi all. Considering I am only 4 and a half weeks pregnant I am feeling quite nauseous and embarrassingly almost fainted in front of lots of people yesterday (not good when we are not telling anyone we are pregnant this early). I also have very little energy. I am taking all of this as a good sign as I had very little symptoms with the mc and ectopic. Did anyone else feel this way this early? I have an appointment on Thursday with GP to request a referral for a 6 week scan. Until then I am trying to take each day as it comes. As many have said there is nothing I can do if it is not meant to be. So I am trying to keep occupied and semi sane.

Cleofish, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Take care of yourself hun xx

    afternoon all,

thanks for your advise. i def know iam going overboard. :( thanks for being so patient with me. it def was the loss last time... i couldnt go to bed last night, mainly also because DH was out and was back late so was so restless. i must calm down. i will book an appointment with the GP but i know how they are like. they just want to get rid of you.

i did tell him when i first saw him a few weeks ago and all he said was not to worry. you are right, i got to try and just enjoy this pregnancy and i think the main thing is to keep busy now.... i have a driving lesson later and this will keep me busy. lol

candlewax, i was the same. this time round i found out earlier that i was pregnant and my nausea started as soon as i found out. i am 7 weeks today! Yay! :j (just realised that now) hehe.. and i still have my nausea. i was watching saturday live kitchen and watching them cook somehting was making me sick. lol.. my mum said to try the good old lemon pickle and everytime i feel eeky i have a little bit of that. for me that is doing good but she said not to have loads as it will give me a cough. lol

i also feel very very tired. i got back from work yesterday and napped for a few hours. hmmm that could be a reason i couldnt slepe later. i have no energy so when mums and Gps say to exercise a bit, i cant as i have no energy so in that aspect am taking it slowly. i also had a scan at 6 weeks and that re-assured me but i had to just go to the walk in clinic and request one as the GP said to do that. now its a waiting game till the 12 week one. :)

ok i will take each day as it comes. :) and i am going to start now and get off the internet and have a shower and go out and enjoy this sunshine. i normally shop till i drop but wth feeling sick, i dont fancy, however, i am going to go and shop now. :)

thank you so much for being so sweet and not losing patience with me. i know i go crazy at times, but am trying as of now!
    xxx hugs to all

Candlewax, at 4.5 weeks I was exhausted. I could not do anything I was so tired all the time. It lasted till about 7,5 weeks and started again this week (I'm 12 weeks). I was in bed by 8 and felt most of the time really dizzy but was never sick. Last time I did not have any symptoms (I mc-d in Oct) at that stage so I welcomed all:).

I am incredibly thirsty this week, I drink so much and still can't get rid of it. I also look pregnant, I thought this won't happen to me so early but yes, I popped:o. Just hoping it's all good, i have my scan on Tuesday!

Candlewax - I was exactly the same. From 3 to 12 weeks I felt shocking, so tired, could go to sleep by 8pm each night, (and even then after getting 11 hours, it still wasnt enough!) and then around 13 weeks, it gradually got better. I'm 19 weeks now and have a lot more energy. I get achey when I do too much, but dont feel half as tired. Hope it improves for you soon - I know its horrible!

Sorry to hear your news Cleofish :( :grouphug:

Morning sickness starting to fade, still have moments, tired though, fell asleap at 9.30pm on Friday, but have been up since 5.30am! Been finding that I am awake at 5am in the mornings since we found out, not sure if I am practising for the early mornings! We went into the town today and I ended up in bed for 2 hours this afternoon:o, before I found out I was pregnant, I had been having trouble in going to the gym, and couldn't figure out why I was so knackered, know now don't I!. I have said to OH that we will go to the gym tomorrow but will have to build it back up to a manageable level, I only ever did the treadmill anyway, but the midwife is okay with me doing this.:)

I started to get dizzy spells soon after finding out and started to take Iron tablets thinking this might help and it has to some extent and again Midwife did not have a problem with that. You might want to consider that for a short period.

    Rups,

I find distraction techniques are a life saver. I do a lot of the competitions on here as a distraction technique, it is enough to keep my mind busy and the possibility of winning something helps.

Just taking your mind of it, google baby things but not symptoms or what can go wrong. Concentrate on the tangibles and not the what ifs. There is no point getting your knickers in a twist over something that 'might happen'

Was thinking of you today, I had to smoke my bees so filled a smoker with paper and set fire to it to make smoke. Obviously I was breathing in a lot of the smoke, reminded me of your oven question. :D

    Hello lovelies. :)

DH's aunt and uncle are down from Kent and are staying at the in-laws overnight so we went over for a meal. :)

They came here first because they wanted to see our new flat and we told them our news (seeing as how the next time we'd see them would be September). Aunty said that she had a dream about me being pregnant a couple of months ago.

Anyway, had a nice meal and a catchup but now the M.E has taken it's toll and I'm not feeling too great.

Trying to avoid FB and the like as I'm recording the Britain's Got Talent Final and don't want to know who wins until I've seen it! lol.
