That doesn't make you an idiot emsbet you wouldn't be human if you didn't get attatched.

You can't self refer to our EPU too I had similar symptoms to you but also a stitch like pain in one side and went to A and E who can refer to EPU they also have an ultrasound portable thing at ours so they used that to confirm beanie was in the right place initially then booked us in for an early scan to check all was well.

Thankfully it was and were now 15 weeks but in the end I had 2 early scans at the hospital due to concerns about pains and brown blood hopefully you will be just going through the same.

Have you thought of going to A and E ? Just to have them take a look at you and they will do an urgent referral too ?

Big Hugs am sure all will be well but completely understand how scared you feel

I haven't had anymore brown discharge since earlier so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and wait for my appointment for my scan next week. I may try to get them to move it forward but I know that they won't do it until six weeks (which is Friday for me) as they wouldn't when I had my mc.
If it comes back or gets worse I will either phone the EPU or go to A&E.

Just been crying my eyes up went to the toilet and had major blood and clotting sorry for tmi phoned docs in a state gotta go in first thing an she's referring me to epu so hoping I can have a scan tomoz haven't had any pains so tryin not to stress an keeping my fingers crossed its not another mc xx

My midwife just called to say my blood platelet count is low. Has anyone else had experience of this? She didn't seem overly concerned but she said to be careful re cutting myself and I need another test when I have my san on Thursday. I've looked online and doesn't seem to be anything to get worried about,but I'm still worrying.

Just been catching up on all your posts.

Mssas and emsbet - I hope you are both alright, keeping my fingers crossed for you both xx

I had a little bit of brown discharge on Sun morning, I panicked too and was googling like mad. Luckily, I had my Midwifes mob number and when she did our booking in she said I can call her when I need to. So I rang and told her and she said as long as it is not blood red then not to worry, she said as I am about 8 and a half weeks and would be due my 2nd period it could be something from there and brown discharge is the bodys way of getting rid of old blood? As long as it is not accompanied by lots of pain, try not to worry. Also - and sorry if this really is TMI but she said if you have done the old dance of love the night before, this is quite common afterwards!

I will be 9 weeks tomorow, no sign of a scan date atm though, hoping it comes through early just so I can book the time off at work.

Also - sorry I cannot remember who had the really low blood pressure without going back through posts....mine is 100/60 and I feel terrible so 80/60 must be awful

I have had it for a few years now and I do recall my GP once saying to increase my salt intake, although that is prob not advisable for preg women. I have been trying to drink lots of fluid and eating every few hours...nothing seems to help though unfortunately Hopefully you feel a little better soon xx
