Welcome to all the new people!

We had a lovely relaxing holiday, I almost feel like I've caught up on sleep! We went self catering so that made things easier for meals, though we did eat out a few times. I'd been completely off anything involving tomatoes, but I managed to have some pizza on holiday, and it was really tasty. I've been driving my husband slightly mad by insisting on green or citrus / acidic type food and lots of veg. Still, it's fairly healthy! Felt really sick on the flight back, but managed to cope with peppermints and lots of water.

Can't believe I'm 10+3 now. Looking forwards to my first midwife appointment on Friday as hopefully she'll get a scan date sorted out. We've started telling people, most of my work colleagues know, plus close family and a few friends. Accidentally told friends who came over for dinner, as we were showing them some 'before' pics of our house (currently doing it up) and didn't realise the positive pregnancy test pic was in amongst them! LOL!

My husband is at home at the moment, so he gets to do all the housework and cooking, which I think has made things so much easier for me as I can just collapse on the sofa in the evening and cuddle the cat (and husband). I can definitely understand people getting cleaners in, if he hadn't been home I'm sure we'd have needed one!

Added myself, so exciting :j
Had 1st midwife appointment yesterday, was a bit disappointing to be honest. Was a group session, we got there 10 minutes early and the midwife had already started so don't know what we missed. You had to ring and book a place so they knew how many people were attending but the room didn't have enough chairs. When we got there people were already sitting on the floor. The room was so hot and uncomfortable i felt a bit wobbly. Was only there about 15 minutes, she basically gave us all a file and 2 sample pots and sent us on our way. Next one is a 1-2-1 session on 26th July so am hoping i feel a bit more positive after that!
