Aw, you poor thing, I hope everything's ok for you and you didn't hurt yourself too badly. Sending positive thoughts your way x

Bambywamby - Congratulations!! Im interested to know if you'llget married before the baby arrives too! We've been engaged 3 years now and am so tempted to have a shot gun wedding now as soooo want the baby to have the same surname as me (and OH).

Doglover - Good luck for tomorrow. Sure you'll be so excited to see your little bean in there! Let us know how you get on.

Back for work for me tomorrow, have had 4 days off and made the most of being able to rest, Im going to be asleep before I get home tomorrow I'm sure!

Night girls, Wishing you all have a good week ahead xx

Thank you all for your congrats!!! :) x x

I think I will go for a shot gun wedding. I fancy being all bumped up in a pretty summer maternity dress on the photos :T...thinking maybe June...for semi-decent weather.

omg i feel HUGE today. seriously im 9 weeks went back to work today and loads of people noticed and asked how far gone i was and then promptly told me i was having twins or triplets. ( i would love twins by the way lol) but im huge, why? this is my fourth pregnancy so maybe im just stretched a bit, but with my first i didnt even show till i was six months and my second around 4 months.
    9 weeks bah

sorry for the moan lol on a better note havent been sick today

I am 9+5 and I feel totally tubbed out. I have a hard, bloated belly and boobs Dolly Parton would pay for. Today, I am wearing my first pair of maternity jeans today with soft belly band...they are delightful.

Great news and congrats on the scan Dog Lover. x x

Hope to see you on here permanently very soon Gillby. x x

Hugs Skintcatt, I can totally empathise with the heart burn. I have had a couple of slugs of Gaviscon over the last few weeks when it got too much.

Hope you all have a happy and healthy Valentines day.

    Bam x x

Argh! Pregnancy insomnia in force here :(

With DD I started showing properly at around 16/17 weeks. However there's more fat to push out this time :o

I'm 5+2 today and the time is really dragging. I'm 3 days further along than I got last time but I still worry every day. I've got my MW appointment on 8th March so I'll be 8 weeks by then.

I need to write a resignation letter for work as I won't be able to work and pay for childcare for 2 children in term time and 3 in holidays. I'm currently on a career break because DD would not settle anywhere without me, so now I won't be going back at all.

Not having many symptoms ATM except this insomnia sometimes. It's annoying because DD (19 months) is fast asleep!

  • Morning ladies :)

MSM - I've got that hungover feeling too! I've literally woken up every morning for the past couple of weeks with all the symptoms of a hangover and I'm SO dehydrated! I drank 5 litres of water yesterday (and consequently spent silly amounts of time in the loo!) but still got a dry mouth :S

Sorry to hear about the insomnia Pinkpig thats miserable :(

Baby brain is in full force over here, but hugs to those that need/want them and sticky beans all round :) xxx

    Good Morning Ladies :)

well I had a pretty good sleep for a change think its the tablets for the sickness as the box says for treating insomnia too so thats good, woke up this morning was sick as usual, had a tablet and I think they could be working cause I managed to eat a full dish of supernoodles with cheese yum yum and I quite enjoyed them plus I'm not feeling sick woooooo, still have a little of the hungover feeling, bit tired and headachy but its a great improvement :)

Gonna enjoy my 2 weeks off then hopefully I'll be fighting fit ready for work, have a fab day everyone :) xx

Morning ladies! I'm 15+5 and getting slower by the day now, it's ridiculous! I counted last night that I peed 4 TIMES in 45 minutes. !!!!!!!!! All were full bladder pees too, surely this isn't how it will be for the next 5 months :rotfl:

Sorry for those who are struggling with ms :( I'm still being sick but it's so much better than it was. At least I can eat whatever I like now.

  • ecoelle - I think you're close to me in terms of how far along and the pregnancy tracker on my phone says to expect headaches around now due to hormone levels shifting again. Won't help your symptoms but may put your mind at ease.

MSM - a permanent hangover is exactly how I described the way I'm feeling to someone the other day! Constant munchies but still feeling queasy, nasty taste in mouth, tired, achey. Yuk.

welshpolarbear - I'm 11 weeks and all my clothes are feeling really tight. Don't think I'm showing though, just getting fat. My weight had been creeping up in the 6 months before becoming pregnant (BMI went from 24 to 26) so I'm finding it hard to judge as under normal circumstances, I'd be on a diet now and would probably have lost 7lbs since Christmas, not gaining more. Can't remember what I was trying to say now...oh yeah...I'm feeling big but I think I'd be feeling big if I were this weight anyway so don't think I can blame it on pregnancy.

Bamby - Congratulations. I love the sound of a summer wedding with bump. You could get a lovely grecian, flowy dress.

pinkpig - I was awake at 3am too. I get up to use the loo and then can't get back to sleep. Been trying not to come online though as I'm sure it wakes me up more. Latest tactic is to stay in bed and listen to some music in headphones.

My brain can only remember back to the top of the page so I hope I haven't missed any big news or burning questions. Hope you all have an energy filled and sick free day! (yeah right :))
  • Hi girls,

Will comment on your messages after work but just had a quick question.....

Oh my gosh, my oh has just called to say I can have a scan on Thursday (he very luckily works in private hospital) But I'm wondering if its too early to even see anything? I'll b 6 weeks by my dates, 7+4 by LMP. Anyone any ideas?

Sorry for rushed message, on phone and meant to be working hard! But can't concentrate anyway as baby brain has seriously arrived today! x
