Well.. The OH has been told.. kind of.. he is now sulking like a 2 year old.. let's see how long it lasts..
I want to slap him silly.. this is ridiculous.. and he best not wonder why I haven't told him sooner.. because his current 'face' kind of gives the reason in glorious technicolour.. yes of COURSE I managed this all on my own I am so effing talented like that.. fool!
Helped hugely by the fact the baby has been screaming like a wild woman all week and DD3 has hormones..
I hate men.. even the nice ones (this one is nice really..) .. but I do hate them all..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all,
Well today has been eventful to say the least.
Went for the scan this morning and my suspicions were confirmed, there were 2 babies....but only 1 heartbeat.
Still, it seemed happy enough beating away so im feeling good.
Yay0 -
RWB.. I am sorry to hear one of your LO's isn't doing well.. but hopefully the other will thrive and arrive safe and well in several months time! I lost the twin to DD1 and DS2.. It is sad and I still wonder what would it have been like had they both survived.
Did they give you a due date?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Understatement!
Anyway, perhaps its the detachment thing coming in again but I dont feel like Ive "lost" anything.
This baby has a better chance if s/he is the only one in there so in that respect I am pleased. Atleast my twin radar is accurate!
No EDD. I asked and they said "its too inaccurate for it to be of any use so just go off the date you orginally thought"
I am just so relieved everything is okay. I wanted a picture but they wouldnt give me one! Boo! I am going to bully my midwife into giving me a scan at 11 weeks, then il get another at 13 with the consultant (hopefully).0 -
I felt the same with mine too.. like I couldn't be sad for what wasn't because what was was so wonderful... it is a funny feeling though.
He is upstairs sulking like a child.. I am downstairs festering in my own fury...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Would reminding him how fortunate he is to already have 1 child and be graced with another help? A situation millions would KILL for? Or is he not that sort of bloke?

No that probably wouldn't help.. It helps me though, I have rellies who had failed IVF and loads of treatments with no success.. he just hates being a dad which makes me really sad because he is lovely really and has so much to share.
Maybe I should lock him in a room with your OH..
Could you pull a sicky about tonight? 'tummy bug' or something?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
