He thinks the baby hates him.. tbh she doesn't do much to prove otherwise.. she screams blue murder every time he picks her up, at he moment she won't even at for him.. she will just about tolerate him changing her nappy. if he holds out his hands to pick her up she slaps at him and will claw his face and pull his hair.. I get kisses and snuggles.

  • As far as I know, if there's been no bleeding, spotting or cramping (ie, any signs that the miscarriage will happen naturally)then they'll arrange an operation (called an ERPC) to remove everything. It's quite a quick procedure as far as I know, most people are in & out within a few hours.

All mine have happened naturally, within a week to 10 days of spotting starting.

I'm thinking of hula too x

Thanks for that Ali - I always thought before that no bleeding / pain meant that all was ok - this is a nightmare lol my nerves are shot :)

  • Didn't occur to me to do that! Was so busy looking at the screen trying to catch a glimpse lol! Going back to the surgeon in a few weeks so I'm going to try to speak to the midwife about it before then, hopefully she'll be able to fill in the blanks for me!

How are you feeling about Thursday?

Aww how mean - he was bound to know u would be dyin to see beanie :) lol @ trying to steal the scanner - would have been worth it to see the look on their faces

    no this is his 2nd,

I do keep reassuring him the baby will want him when she can play better and she'll want stories and rough and tumble and in a few more weeks when my spd kicks in good and proper he'll be doing everything.. but he isn't convinced.. he can just hear the screaming now and feels rejected. My friends and family have told him the same but he won't believe us.. she is only little still. Though, she does cry mumumumum when sat on his lap!

How old is your LO pigpen? That sounds like a tricky situation. My OH didn't really bond with Amelie until she was quite a bit older (like 6m), until then he couldnt play with her or anything cos all she wanted was booby and mummy (or both!). Regardless of if he hates being a dad, he helped create your children so it's really not fair for you to be carrying that huge weight on your shoulders.
