My little lady was 2 in January so she will be just under 3 when this gummybear is born. It's funny cos if I fell preg the first cycle trying, I would have a 3 month old and I have no idea how I could have coped! She's not well today (no idea what's wrong - nasty, dry cough, runny nose, clingy and tired, white tongue and red spots at the back of her throat with random pink spots on her arms, face and lower back?!) and I can't imagine having to look after a newborn too, especially as she just wanted to breastfeed all day long

THEY'LL STILL WANT THE DATing scan (soz capslock) and if you want the NT you best tell them and they'll have to arrange that then too as it is such a small window to be done in.

They'll measure top of head to bottom and work out gestation on that. .. be prepared for blob with not much detail but heartbeat will be visible.

I know, Im hoping I am further along than 7 weeks. I dont want to see a blob! :(
  • lol, glad to know im not the only "knicker watcher"
im feeling a lot better after my tummy bug, but phoned the midwife to make sre it couldnt of been a miscarriage with all the tummy cramps, she said no as there was no bleeding, but still worrying as i know its obviously possible.
if you have miscarried without any symptoms ie bleeding will a pregnancy test show positive or negative?

this time next week i will be able to make my booking in appointment, thanks the lord, such a long wait.

pigpen i love your bump! how far on do you think you are?
luckily i have fat to hide my bump until i have my 12 week scan!

hugs and love to everyone that needs it and hi to the couple of new mummys to be xxxx:j

I believe if you have a missed miscarriage (no bleeding or anything) then the tests still show as a positive and your symptoms stay because your body still thinks it has a baby to grow (hence no bleeding). Theyre really rare though. 1-2% of miscarriages and that includes chemical pregnancies.

  • tonight my OH asked me if i think my son-who is 3-loves him, as he only goes to him when he wants something, whereas he'll gladly snuggle up to me!
i told him, this one on the way can be his favourite!

he cant hate being a dad, else he'd take precautions not to be one! he prob hasnt even noticed your bump lol!
