Tell me about it.. I can sleep all day yet was up at 5am !!!

Though.. I had a play with the doppler at bedtime and picked up a fabulous clear heartbeat so went to sleep all excited and happy... Had it clear as a bell for a while too .. last time it was a few secs before Dot zipped off but not last night.. made me smile :A

Pp I'm so jealous - Im two weeks in front of u (I think) & haven't felt/seen giblets move nor heard a heartbeat (but did see it on the scan). Am bidding on dopplers on eBay at the mo & I know a lot of women don't feel movement until after 14 wks but I'm so desperate to feel it!

It is usually a lot later with first pregnancies.. and if the placenta is anterior (on the front) it is harder to feel.. then again I could also be 4 weeks further than I think.

I know I'm just so impatient, lol. I know the placenta isn't in the way as I had my scan last week Just got to wait it out I guess, lol

Well I am 12 weeks tomorrow :j and only 5 sleeps until scan, cant wait, but at the same time am really nervous!

I got a letter today in the post for our 12-week scan. I had no idea it would come so quickly. Still not sure if we going to do the 12-week one, but plus one for the NHS, which is usually insanely slow around these parts!

I declined all the blood tests and NT and amnio.. I'll take my chances and see what I get.. think I am relying on OH's much younger sperm to counter my old and ancient egg lol

I wonde what they will do with my dates.. will be interesting.. MW told them I was 10 weeks yesteday but I think I am a few days less than that.. but we'll see.. 17 days and counting...

Sorry to butt in here, but its not just downs (and downs varies in severatity) there are many other chromosonal disorders that can be picked up at a NT and amnio, some of which are not compatiable with life, so that has to be considered.

I think you misunderstood what was written..

The point I made being.. it doesn't matter what could be detected if you refuse to have it done in the first place the odds of something beng amiss vs the odds of m/c which is still at 1% AFAIK

I have a bump Eeeheee! Its only small like, but there none the less. Heartbeat is the next one I want to find!

I don't think I will be getting a 12 week scan 'coz I don't see the consultant til after that. Im hoping it'll be later on anyway and they might be able to tell us the sex. Though saying that, Im tempted to register with a midwife and see if she will give me a cheeky scan @ 12

12 weeks today I will be a married woman
