Aw so happy for you tinks! You can relax some now!

Trina how far along are you? My friend was scanned straight away when she had bleeding and she was roughly 6 weeks.

Im really hoping this boobage is temporary, hoping they will shrink of their own accord (can boobs bloat??). Im gonna need some matron bras soon - my DH called them huge yesterday, and really upset me :rotfl:
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

  • Trina. How you feeling now sweetie?x
  • So happy to see this tinks, have been worrying like mad! Sounds like a tough wee one you've got there, it'll be hanging on tightly now :-)

Trina how are you doing? Thinking of you, bleeding is pretty scary but I think it happens to almost half of pregnant ladies at some point. Hope you're ok x
  • So glad Tinks ok. and Trina- Hubby read on the NHS this morning that lots of women experience some bleeding between weeks 5 and 8 where the bean is growing and grabbing on.
I have a cold which is pants. But I also have- swollen sore boobs, hot flushes and then cold shivers, at 10.30 this morning I had to shoot out of my seat and dry heave over the toilet, this afternoon I've experienced a sick feeling, I didn't want breakfast but I must have eaten twice my usual amount of lunch. And then I had a touch of heart burn. I NEVER get heart burn. Not sure which of these are cold related and which are bean related. :/
I don't often return to a thread I've posted on so.... if you want to ask me about anything I've written please pm me- I don't bite.

thanks for the wishes guys, im only just approaching 5 weeks, apparantly for them to see anything theyre only able to scan from 6 weeks, so just now theres not much they can do.
im still bleeding, its not getting any heavier though, and the cramps have gone away mostly, just very light now, kinda on par with what they were before and my chest is still very tender, so im going to keep my fingers crossed and rest for a few days.
spoke to my boss at lunchtime and hes bascially said dont come in tomorrow, and if you need monday/tuesday just take them and let me know, but ill see how i go for now.
on the plus side, im having a nice day relaxing in bed and catching up on some tv to take my mind off it :)

That was the problem I had last month, trina - bleeding started at 5 weeks and the EPU wouldn't see me til 6 weeks as there would be nothing to see before then. Unfortunately it wasn't good news for me last month, but I also had bleeding when I was pregnant with DS and everything turned out fine that time. And we've seen from Tinks today that bleeding definitely doesn't have to mean it's all over. Fingers crossed for you, I hope it all turns out OK.

I got an unexpected morning off today as DS's childminder is ill. DH has come home for the afternoon now though, so I'm trying to work whilst listening to them laughing and having fun downstairs :(
