So, had my official dating scan today and all was well - edd moved back one day so 12+4 rather than 12+5. Pip was wriggling about and kept moving out the way so the sonographer got me to do a few aerobics to try and encourage Pip back into the limelight, so popping up to this thread.

We're going to tell our families now and it seems like this time it's really going to happen - so although I'll still pop in here, will be moving up to the next thread.

Tinks will be holding thumbs for you still - even though there is nothing that can be done, really do hope it is good news tomorrow.

Hope that you all have a happy and healthy few months ahead :)

Well, I will be (if our calculations are correct) six weeks gone tomorrow. We have a doctors appointment on Friday so we will find out more then.

I'm still really bloated and so very tired. Was almost late in setting off for work this morning because I felt very sick (and I don't do vomit!)

    Hi all,

    Can I join in too?

My OH and I decided to ntnp and the first time we seem to have got pregnant! Well, lucky we were preventing all those years! :p

I'm 32 and this is my first pregnancy. My period started on 13/9 and usually my cycle is 23 days. Tested on Sunday and Monday and both positive.

I've got a drs appt on Weds next week (seems quite a long time to wait but oh well). They said I need an appt there before they will refer me to the midwife.

No major symptoms yet other that a bit of cramping and some probably imaginary queasiness!

Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all!

QQ or those that have had booking in appointments has your MW mentioned the flu jab? Mine didn't speak of it (or the new whooping cough but that was only mentioned the day after). Think I should probably ring the surgery and ask if I need it, but then I've got my scan 1 wk tomorrow, so probably just ask at the hospital then.
    L.xxx

LW - i had my first appt with my GP on monday and she did the flu jab there and then. Definitely ask ahead of any appt at your GP so they can prepare it - its recommended for pregnant women.

    Welcome new BFPs! :j

Still got slight bloating but worse is my boobs are getting noticeably bigger! NooooOO. Gone from a happy 30DD to a 30F in the last year and will probably by a FF-G soon - :( not happy about that!

Feeling less tired now, don't feel so like napping in the day anymore. Everyone keeps telling me the major symptoms start from 6 weeks (next week) - not looking forward to that eek! Really looking forward to my scan next mon though :D .

Hope you girls are coping well!
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

Mine started out a lot smaller than that but ballooned in the first trimester (first sign of pregnancy!), then shrunk a bit again, before coming back. Hopefully yours shrink a bit soon :)

Mogwai - with my DS I was a 32FF to start with and ended up at 34H so didn't change too much. I only went up to a 32G the whole way through my pregnancy (and baby was big) and it was only when my milk came in the I went up the last wee bit. I could have got away with a GG but went for H just in case. DH liked the look of it - he thought it was cruel of nature to design them so that they looked great but were way too sensitive to be touched! lol!
