Feeling a little bit sad tonight, Hubby has gone away til Monday so am lonely and missing him (he only left at 5!) I wonder when I turned into such a sap sometimes but don't know what to do with myself. Went to MIL for dinner and some tele which was nice. Don't feel tired but maybe I should send myself to bed. (Don't want to go on my own though.)
Sorry for being a winge bag, I know it's only a few days and it's not the end of the world, and I'm being incredibly daft.

Aaw no you're not. I found it a lot harder to cope with OH being away since pg - usually I quite liked having the house to myself. Never been able to sleep on my own though but that's because I'm a big scaredy cat.

Eek wide awake as I went to loo and had a show  I know it can be days but it is all scarily real now.

Morning girls - sorry I've been AWOL again.

Have been working away from the office all week and tired in the evenings which has meant limited internet access - have tried to track what's been going on from my phone, but it's rubbish.

Been struggling a bit this week; my rib pain is getting worse and is now with me for the majority of the day instead of just in the evenings. I didn't get any sleep on Wednesday night because of it and the baby was going mad all night (probably because I'd been to Aqua-Natal that evening). Only went into work for the morning yesterday then came home to bed. Slept for hours - must have needed the break.

Started reading a babycare book yesterday (thought I'd better start thinking about what life is actually going to be like!) - it said newborns need feeding 10-12 times a day and each feed lasts 20-40 mins! OMG - how do I get time to do anything else?!! I really don't think I've thought this parenting malarky through properly........ !!!

Puzzled - something you wrote a few days ago struck a chord with me - I often forget I'm pregnant and look down and think "oh yeah, I'm pregnant!" Although my belly has grown, it feels like a normal part of me and I don't feel huge so it's easy to forget. I'm also lifting things and bumping my bump, and sleeping partially on my front at night - I hope it doesn't make me a bad mummy.

Madbird & Perdi - huge labour vibes to you

    Newbies - welcome!

    xDx

Good luck Perdi :j Im sure Madbird wont mind x

Off to Torquay in a bit to get eyebrows threaded and waxing done, then a little, tiny bit of shopping ;)

Had the best nights sleep last night, i havent slept properly for weeks due to evil tenants, but im filing forms at court today to have them evicted so it finally feels like i might get rid of them soon. Didnt wake up until nearly 8, DD was still asleep so had to get her up, dressed, fed and we left the house at 8.30 for school - not bad, even though i did look like a tramp!! Just going to have a bath now then out for the day.

Have a good day all x

Labour vibes to madbird - hope you're not too far behind!

Happy last day at work Lablover!

Ddebski I can totally relate to the rib pain, I've had it since 18 weeks and have had different people telling me it could be loads of different things causing it. Last MW appointment though she could feel the babies bum well and truly underneath my ribcage so I think that's what it has been all along. I haven't found a cure for it yet, hope you do!

Was really weird last night, had curry for tea about 8.30pm. Went to bed at about 11pm and woke up at 1am and was sick, but it wasn't ill sick IYSWIM - I think I might have had some supressed heartburn or something? It was very strange and as soon as I had been sick I felt better?

On a positive note - it's Friday! OH is away for the night tonight so my friend is coming to stay - I have turned into a big wimp in pregnancy who doesn't want to be home alone!
