Still getting BH. At what point do they count as 'regular'??
They're not terribly painful (well, not to me anyway).

Just nommed three quarters of a large pizza. DH had one too. Theory is, we can wrap up the leftovers and pop em in the car if anything does happen tonight. I can't see DH getting much in the way of food when we're there. Also got a pile of biscuits I made today.

Trying to stay positive "I can do this I can do this"

    Good luck Hitchins.

When there's a pattern, say every 10 mins etc. If it is the real thing, they will build up. Course you can do it! So exciting! :D:D

    :rotfl: @ leftovers and biscuits.

Ah I'll eat my hat if this is anything, probably over did it today....loading dishwasher. :D

Physio today wasn't great, she basically gave me the same rubbish sheet of exercises that the GP gave me and said they didn't work because im not doing them properly.

I asked about giving birth as i cant open my legs to wide and she didn't answer.

Im to get a gym ball and lean on that against the wall instead of sitting, im not to go out for walks alot and i have to try and avoid housework...

I cant have a support belt as she doesn't think it will help.

    She was slightly competitive aswell..

Physio "How much did Lily weigh?"
    Me "9lbs 11ozs"
    Physio "My baby was 11lbs.."

I asked about my painkillers as my GP said to take 2 tablets 4 times a day. My MW said to only take them if i really feel i need to.
And now she has said im to take 2 at night, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.

I dont know what to do, i dont like taking to much because of the baby :(

Thats what i said, but i'll do the exercises exactly to the sheet and if it gets worse then i will call her back.

Lol, she also suggested that instead of rolling over in bed, i get out the side im facing and walk round the other side of the bed and get in to the side i want to face :rotfl:

    eta, anyone seen FairyShazza recently?

    *waves*

    I'm here :p

Sorry I've been AWOL ladies - have had a funny three weeks and haven't been in a very good frame of mind I didn't want to bring anyone down on the thread. Plus as I was wrapping up at work I was so busy that I just didn't get much chanced to get on.

I've also been diagnosed with SPD and have been trying to get my head around that. Have been feeling a little down in the dumps (as well as being in pain quite a lot of the time) just rather fed up that I got this far (to 34 weeks) and now this has come along :o From the waist up and the thigh down I feel absolutely fine and dandy - everyone keeps telling me how well I look too. It's just annoying that someone seems to replaced my pelvis with that of a raggy doll :(

I gave myself a bit of a pep talk though and after a session of Reflexology on Saturday tailored to hopefully help ease the symptoms of the SPD and my appointment for physio coming through am feeling much more positive now :)

I can't believe I've missed so many births :( I hope all the new mummies and babies are doing well.

I've finished work and am on maternity now so am going to make sure I keep up with all the goings on a bit more now I have more time :)

Hope mums and bumps are all happy and healthy this evening hug-2583.gif

  • EA, I can't believe they're all being so useless! Well unfortunately I can but you know what I mean. I'd be asking your midwife if there's someone you can see if possible. Hugs hon, it really sucks x.
