To be honest I am still not sure how I feel about it! After having dealt with ventilation and tube feeding and weeks of silence that this involved with my older boy it was initially a relief to have a baby who could cry if that makes sense? It could be hard going at times with the little guy especially since my husband works away for months on end which meant that I had very little support but I ended up getting really fit as I walked with him in his pram for miles on end to try and calm him down a bit.
. Strangely enough though he is now the most pleasant natured child imaginable!

Because of my medical history I am under consultant and midwife care and have been told on numerous occasions by consultants that the measuring of the stomach isnt 100% but it gives them a rough idea of how your coming along. My work mates wife measured under every week and they were worried she was cooking a little baby so she went for growth scans every week ..... she went into labour 5 days early and gave birth to a 9LB 5 oz boy, lolThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Goodness me those are scary pants :rotfl:
I've always just worn my normal ones, and when I go into hospital I just buy a new pack of cheapy QS specials so that if they get ruined it doesnt matter. And at £3 odd for 5 pairs they're cheaper than disposables. The ones that survive them become emergency pants. You know the ones you'll wear when everything else is in the wash
ETA For the lady with the section who needs masisve pants, QS do the full on granny jobs as well that go up to the bellybutton. Same price as the others. They do tend to feature pink flowery patters though :rotfl:
I think i need a word with myself, those pants on very, whilst yes, not the sexiest, all's i can think is, wow - they look comfy!! My poor poor hubby!!
I think bump is finding new area's in my stomach to explore. Really odd feeling that I can't describe, just under the bust, right in the centre feels like butterflies! Anyone else had this!!
Also, a word of advice needed. My mother had 3 C-sections with us because her pelvis is too small to deliver anything bigger than a 2lb baby, they didn't discover this until late stages when first born was breech and they scanned and xrayed to see if he could get out. Would anyone mention this to the midwife?:heart2: Mummy to one gorgeous little girl :heart2:0 -

I couldnt wear those big pants, bump goes loopy as soon as anything touches it. Cant wear tight tops or over the bump jeans.Bump is so active , even midwife commented and health visitor who could see bump moving under top at ante-natal
:rotfl:tee hee! all this talk of big pants!
My big pants are only for after the op when my bump has gone LabLover as normal ones will put pressure on the wound - I can't have anything touching/pressing on my bump either at the moment either - I'm currently wearing my pre pregnancy size 8 thong under the bump, lol! TMI :rotfl:0 -

I think I might have a 7lbr. My mums had three children , first was 4 weeks prem and was under 5lb. I was just under 6lb and number three was just over 6lb. Evryone assumes cause bump is small then baby will be tiny , but its all baby , not much fat. So im thinking 7/8 lb. I will be terrified if its any smallerThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Thanks Delain - Yes the flowery theme is a feature of the 'full size briefs' it seems.
I've found some plain black ones in Marks so may go for them if Matalan don't deliver my bloomers in time! :rotfl:0
