:rotfl:Sparkle I may have bought everything for the hospital bag but nothing has so far made it into the actual bag! Job for tonight though I think (feels like I've been saying that everyday for the last week!)
galvanizer I also have these http://www.very.co.uk/intimates-essentials-maternity-briefs-5-pack/883088255.prd?browseToken=%2fb%2f100086%2fs%2fbestsellers%2c0&trail=1589-1710-100086 I have no idea what possessed me to buy them but OH thinks that they are hilarious
They look like they will do the job Apricot - I only have my normal pants at the moment and they won't be any good for after the birth as the elastic will cut in to the section wound - they need to be up to my bellybutton - just want to make sure that once the bumps gone they are not falling down on me - specially since I'm taking nighties and not pyjamas!0 -

Yes I think they are supposed to be quiet at first - especially with a c section - they are supposed to be calmer I think.
DS fitted the calm description nicely but they cut DD's head during the section (my womb lining was very thin) and she screamed her head off bless her (understandably) - luckily it was a tiny cut but she had a little plaster on head right from the start
She loves me to tell her that story now - strange child!0 -
DD3 has a 2 inch scar where they sliced her head open too.. she had stitches!! i'm just glad it was in her hair.. a couple of cm further forward it would have been her face! she still didn't cryLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Just come back from 28 week appt. I think I'll stop going I always come out depressed. Its a shame coz my MW is really nice....anyhoo some of you might remember I was measuring 3 weeks small 2 weeks ago. Well I'm now measuring 4 weeks small. MW again said not to panic - its very variable and lots of factors blah blah BUT she also said that if he's still small at the next appointment she'll have to send me to see the consultant at the hospital. But we're on holiday for 2 weeks from next Friday so my next appointment isn't until 22nd June!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She told me not to worry until then.....ummm that's like another month of not knowing whats going on!
*Delurking time*
Clarieloo i feel exactly the same. At my 25week app I measured 22weeks. MW said not to worry and if the same by 28week i'd probably be sent for extra scans just to check. I have made such an effort to make sure im eating more (although i dont think it matters), any excuse for a chocolate bar:rotfl:
It makes me wonder how accurate that measurement can be. All of my scan measurements are fine so im ignoring that stupid tape measureTesco CC 1300/461.93/838.07Mini HP 13000.62/5813.62/71870 -
Oh.. and the cheeky blighters at the hospital have sent another appointment I have to cancel.. I don't see why I should have to ring and cancel appointments I told them not to make in the first place.. I told them, if I want an appointment I'll ring them (though they will have a VERY VERY long wait!!!)LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Goodness me those are scary pants :rotfl:
I've always just worn my normal ones, and when I go into hospital I just buy a new pack of cheapy QS specials so that if they get ruined it doesnt matter. And at £3 odd for 5 pairs they're cheaper than disposables. The ones that survive them become emergency pants. You know the ones you'll wear when everything else is in the wash
ETA For the lady with the section who needs masisve pants, QS do the full on granny jobs as well that go up to the bellybutton. Same price as the others. They do tend to feature pink flowery patters though :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
