Does anyone know if its ok to have a filling? My dentist has decided I need one but I'm not in any pain with the tooth and I'm wondering whether to put it off until bubs arrives...

They won't do the grey fillings in pregnancy.. but will do the white ones.. which don't last as long and they make you pay for!

Could you wait until bubs is born then get the treatment free as you will have the maternity exemption certificate? I'm going to ask my dentist if there is anything she thinks I need while it's free!

    Hello all,
PP - why wont they do the grey ones? I've got an apt this week for some work which if I remember correctly is 3 very small holes to be filled (damn pregnancy sweet tooth!!).

    :)

    hope all are well!!
I'm 30 weeks this week, can't believe baby is 3/4 cooked!! All goes so quick!!

Wow this thread is quiet today - where is everyone?

I have no idea about fillings or anything sorry!

smileyface Im 30 weeks this week as well - time is flying! I still don't feel at all organised for this baby!

Wondering when to pack my hospital bag? My nan was disgusted that I hadn't already done it but it still feels too early to me?

something to do with toxic chemical seepage which might affect the baby.. was it heavy metals or something IIRC
