well sorry to disappoint but baby E is still firmly wedged in my tum. I have a sweep tomorrow so I am hoping that will get him out. I was up most of last night with a bad back, diawoowoo and period pain cramps but nothing today x

Had my 29 week appointment today at the midwife. She said I have a trace of ketones in my urine. Im measuring at 30cm. Heard the heartbeat and I had my sister record it, she got a little teary bless her
Husband couldnt go as he had work so she came with me instead.
Babs has been laying in the most uncomfortable positions today, its been terrible lol I hope he doesnt do it often!
I finish work this week  as I have 6 weeks of holidays to take before my maternity leave. I am not sure what I am going to do with myself though, Im feeling bored already at the thought of it lol but at least it should give me the push to get baby's room done!:j0 -

Congratulations Benson! Hope you and Charlotte are both doing well.
I also think her name is beautiful....it is quite an unusual name in these parts but both Charlottes that I have known have both been highly intelligent, successful and totally beautiful women so it seems a very lucky name in my mind!0 -
Good luck for tomorrow Vroom hope that by this time tomorrow night you are getting lots of cuddles from your little guy.
.
Hope all other ladies in bold and those who are full term and ready get to meet their little ones before the royal wedding.
For anybody looking for a baby monitor both Mothercare and Amazon are selling the Tommee Tippee closer to nature digital monitor for £66.00 just now which is about one third off.....quite expensive I know but a godsend for the totally neurotic types like myself!0 -
Morning all
Nothing happening here. Still 1 day till due date. Bum that will mean I'm bold won't it?
My mum is here for a few days,so I feel better knowing there's someone here.
She is threatening me with a hot bath and castor oil  she's came 200 miles so is dying to meet the baby before Friday lol.
I'm not that desperate yet
Hope everyone has a good day. Labour vibes to everyone who wants them.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Morning!
Nothing happening here today either, getting a sweep today but I have been awake most of the night with a very very sore throat which I suspect may be tonsilitis (I've had it so many times before), I am feeling pretty miserable and could do without it reallynot sure if I should phone doc this morning or just wait and see what midwife says this afternoon, I certainly don't want a repeat of last night!!
Hope we have some more announcements soon!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Good morning everybody.
Nic I hope that things work out so that both yourself and your mum get what you want.
Teenie it may be best to try and see your GP this morning so that you can start taking your antibiotics as quickly as possible before babys arrival as it will be tiring enough as it is without having to deal with an infection at the same time.
Hope all others get the news they are looking for today.0 -
Morning ladies
Benson - congrats on baby Charlotte - lovely name and what a good weight!!:j
Vroom & Teenie - hoping your sweeps go well today and they jolt the bubbas into action!
Nic - really hoping baby arrives soon so your mum gets to meet him/her - can she not extend her stay if bubba doesn't arrive?
Claireloo & Apricot - I'm only 19 weeks and I think I look huge already - people can recognise it's a baby bump now instead of a food bump. Reckon I'm going to topple over and be wider than I am tall at the end of it........ :rotfl:
I have my scan a week today. Very excited - can't wait to see how much bubba has changed. I've been feeling movements sprodically over the last few days - love it! :happyhear
We applied for London 2012 tickets yesterday - so weird having to think about baby - we've got tickets for him/her too.
Used up some Tesco Clubcard vouchers at the weekend and got some vests, bibs, bootees and scratch mitts for 25p! Bargainous! We cleared the nursery out (now just has the cot) and our bargain mattress arrived from Amazon too! Also managed to track down a discontinued Jungle Chums bumper and mobile on Ebay - pretty successful weekend in the baby department! Planning on a trip to Asda this weekend too to stock up - difficult to know what to buy but thinking a sterliser, some nappies and some more sleepsuits.
Anyway, enough waffle from me.
Massive labour vibes to the boldies.
xDxFear is temporary, regret is forever.....:happyhear Baby girl born 27th September - 10 days late!! :happyhear0 -
I am starting to get organized too Ddebski....the plan is this time to have everything ready and waiting so then baby will wait until term before putting in appearance unlike my boys who arrived before I even had sleep suits or nappies for them! :rotfl:
Not sure how well the plan will work but it is definitely worth a try!:rotfl:
