Ooooohhhhh I want to write that in now! I've always had a flair for the dramatic.

....No but seriously, do you think they'd take notice? Just I don't want to be sliced and diced down there :rotfl:
This is the same hospital who kept giving me an antiemetic which made me worse ignoring the side effects and even tried to discharge me on it. They also tried to give me warfarin at 6-7 weeks pregnant. Warfarin so commonly gives birth defects (especially when given at 6-9 weeks) that they are known as Foetal Warfarin Syndrome. They are absolutely shocking and I doubt other hospitals are as bad.

Jeez Susan is that why you have been so sick.....due to the hospital not paying attention to side effects....that frickin sucks....((((HUgs))))

    Hello all,

firstly to the message I received on the parent group on fb I posted this

"Thats fair enough. I only joined a couple of weeks ago and Ive posted several times but If they dont want people who dont post daily then by all means bump me out.

Just try to remember that some people are only just pregnant with their first and therefore may not have any input to a lot of the conversations started straight away. In future maybe you would prefer to add only people with children rather than pregnancy thread ladies that way they have a fair start.

Also bear in mind a lot of you have known each other for a while and therefore it can be quite intimidating to other ladies.

Im sure there will be more groups in the future but I understand the safety/worry prospect of having people know information regarding children.

Like I said if you wanna chuck me out thats fine I wouldnt post daily I just was there for support/advice if needed which is what I understood the group to be.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

    Good Morning Ladies,

Apologies, I've only read the last couple of pages. At work at the mo. What drama have I missed? I take it there's issues on the FB group? Oh dear :(

RBG - def get that checked out hun. Everytime I see MW she asks about swelling, so you should try to get in and see her or your GP. Can you get an emergency appt?

Did I see Chakani and Giz have popped? If so well done :j I haven't seen the list - but am getting scarily closer and closer!

Had my third and last antenatal class last night and we talked about BF'ing and had a tour of the maternity unit. The MW led unit def looks less clinical and hopsital-like than the delivery suite - so I'm hoping to end up there. But they don't do epidurals at the MW unit, just G&A and pethadine - so we'll just wait and see I guess.

Hope everyone is well. Labour vibes to the boldies and Hngrymummy :D
  • Ahem! Just one last thing from me on the subject of the fb group - thank you to whoever poinrted out to me that I was actually posting on the parent facebook group and not the pg ladies one before I further alienated myself! (I think it was somebody on here) lol! :o

There is no way I could commit to posting on facebook every day (I don't have an iphone) and I've got 2 school age kids and another on the way (oh and I work full time at the mo) but even when on maternity leave I wouldn't have time to sit at my laptop 24/7 nor would I want to.

  • This is from Weezl who is quite upset by the goings on from yesterday.

Please can you reassure there was no intention to evict people without messaging and careful explanation? (hopes I have summarised that right)

Hello to the pregnant ladies :) just wanted to say that if the first time mom's (or other moms) want some advice or a chat-just PM me. I didn't get chance to get to know some of you on facebook in the group-which is a shame. I'm hoping sometime in the near future i'll be joining in, in the pregnancy section :)
