Is it really bad to keep in the house, my mum would but she is having major clear out at moment, so I may have to put in loft....thats ok isn't it?/QUOTE]
It's just an old wives tale madbird I know lots of people who have kept it in the house before the baby was born (especially with second babies when they are reusing the original pram)
Which pushchair did you get after?
Exactly what Apricot says! - I kept both my pushchairs in the house beforehand0 -

It doesnt say anything on the box about not being safe. It is just a hot minty drink , but I was worried because herbal stuff can have added ingredients that could be harmful. Im trying to be healthy , think I finaly have hit the 2nd trimester happiness, other than my boobs being like rocks and this little thing squirming in my tummy all day I wouldnt know I was pregnant. So had 2 bits of pizza last night with loads of salad n spinach and didnt have a pudding (baby normally makes me eat it )Couldnt really face veg or salad in 1st trimester(was never sick , but really fancied dry food , like chicken and dry tatties )
It should state any added ingredients but I think it should be fine - as long as your not drinking it by the bucket load - everything in moderation.
I've had my appetite back for a while now - know what you mean about wouldn't know you were pregnant.
I have been getting lots of movement since about 15 weeks (it's come on earlier this time) - also I look about 7 months preg so hard to forget I'm pg - but on the whole I feel great - much better than I did with my other 2.
I'm trying to be healthy too on the eating and drinking front - from personal experience it's worth it afterwards.0 -
Hi ladies!!
Hope you are all well and (hopefully) rested after a good nights sleep!
For the pushchair in the house, i've had it since i was about 7 weeks pregnant lol I got the Hauck one from tesco when it was 49.99! I didn't worry about that with the other 2 either, but some (older) relatives thought i was bonkers for having it in the house before baby :rotfl:
Wow I seem to have missed the fb drama!! Glad i never bothered joining lol With ds 2 i used another baby website quite a bit and made some fantastic friends on there, who are now on my fb, so if anyone wants to be fb buddies, just pm me!!
Anyway, got LOADS to do-ds1 got after school club so i get an extra hour till i have to go out-just have to make the most of it now and not sit on the laptop too long lol0 -

If I haven't been removed from the other group I think I will remove myself - (I did try last night but couldn't see the option to remove and I kept getting funny messages pop up!) - I'm a bit of a facebook virgin I'm afraid - will see if I get time to go on tonight and do it.
Re posting on the parent thread - I guess this may or may not be useful to me in the future (after all I've managed to have 2 children and never posted on it)
I shall pm you my fb

Im still here and i will stick around here. Yes i left the fb group, i deactivated my other fb account. Im happy to stick around here but i probably wont graduate to the parent thread. I will be busy anyway and im back to college in september
I have physio today, :j0 -
Today I am having more braxton Hicks but they are more painful. - I dont know if im just going mad but now I cant remember what bloody contractions feel like and Ive started to panic that these bh are doing something to my cervix? so was hoping there would be a way to test.
Anyway, you can always have a feel and see if your cervix is doing anything...
Hubby asked me if my BH could just be really slow labour but I said I doubt it as my cervix isn't doing anything, he asked me how I knew... Then offered to give me a sweep!
As far as keeping the pram in the house... If we'd have gotten round to buying one, I would be keeping it here... I don't see how having a pram in the house can cause problems in pregnancy... But then I'm religious not superstitious...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

If you want peppermint tea and are concerned about added ingredients, just go to the supermarket and buy some fresh mint. Bung the leaves in a mug and add some boiling water.
Claire - forgot to say, are you taking suppliments? Prgnancare is quite good, although the tablets look huuuuuuge. It may help make you feel better if you're getting some vitamins etc.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
I dont know if Ive said this before , but my computer at work is ancient.... anyways it doesnt always display MSE properly so it hardly ever shows the "thanks" button so I need to refresh it a million times , so sometimes,my thanks are a bit erraticThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!
