Raspberry leaf tea :) it's quite nice and it's supposed to help either encourage / shorten labour and help the uterus contract back after birth. I feel it worked for me (and I got it during the 1p sale at Holland and Barrett :D )

Never too late! I will certainly do it for baby 2 (not that that will be any time soon!!)

I recommend a good long walk, I did three miles on my due date and started contractions at 10pm, giving birth at 2.23 the next day. Lots of steps, rough terrain, and plenty of water.

Thankyou for all the congrats, here is my little angel Amelia and her best pal Bruno ;):)

    Congratulations!

I wish I could try that eviction technique, but it is the one thing I can't do due to my SPD. Hmm. Glad it worked for you though ;)

We do 2 hour drives to OH's family.. we have had to stop twice for the baby in 8 months.. both times she had pooped. Me however, I need every services we pass.. thankfully there aren't many! I once had to stop 3 times on the way home.

Our car seat stays in the car.. We have her in doors chair and stuff, though she sits unaided now..

That just proves my point that people will make frequent stops anyway for wee breaks, changing, feeding whether it be for you or bubs. I usually need at least one stop for a wee.
However stopping unnecessarily just because baby has been in the seat for 30 minutes is just silly. It's like you're going along, bubs is fast asleep, you look at clock and see it's been 30/45 minutes since you last stopped. "Right, that's it, everyone out at the next stop!" :rotfl:

Oh, I forgot to add, of course not everyone has common sense. But I cannot construct a reply to cover every single type of person in the world, I have better things to do like look at mobile phone upgrades lol.

right will get RLT today. I do walk (SPD permitting) with the dogs but obviously not enough.

I've decided against castor oil, the side effects dont sound very nice!

so when OH gets home from work, I will have drank a load of RLT, been for a three mile walk (yeah ok, I know), surprise another curry on him and DTD

I have been drinking RLT since 34 weeks and hasn't done anything yet but I am hoping it will help in the labour if nothing else. I should be on 3-4 cups a day now but have been a bit rubbish and only had 2 some days so must make more effort lol.
