Just added you SVSandy! The bold names are people who have reached their due date but baby hasn't arrived yet or we don't know about it anyway! Glad the scan went well for you yesterday, is very exciting!

Vroom - Arghh about the texts! I have only had my best friend who lives in Australia putting her facebook status as she is waiting for a text bless her.

Chicky - does sound like baby might have its own ideas. How many weeks are you now?

Im still here and no sign of LO arriving! Ive been full of a head cold for a week and a nasty headache around the back of my head which I cannot get rid of!!!!!

Just been to Mr T's (although i hate going there) to get the usual aftercare items for Labour as I though it was about time I packed my bag
    :-)

MY DD and DS were both 14 days late so i think ive put off the bag packing thinking that this LO won't arrive on time.

Still working unfortunately and will be until she arrives!! Not the most comfortable sat at a desk but i am taking it a bit easier (ish) coming in later but staying quite late too though!

I ordered my replacement tens pads on Sunday which arrive tomorrow so from tomorrow im going to be bouncing on that ball as much as possible to get this little one out! Although may be a bit mad at home as only just moved and although the nursery has been decorated my DD is currently in there with a room FULL of boxes as her room has started to be decorated today...... Maybe its best for LO to arrive in about a week then?!?!

the texts have started....'any sign of the baby yet?'
    ;)

I'm sick of those texts! And the Facebook messages saying "any sign yet?"

No, I've had no signs of labour starting imminently and everyone hounding me about it isn't really cheering me up!

God I've been so grumpy last few days. I might get myself ready and have a walk round the shops. If I stay in this house any longer I will totally crack up!:(

Hi ladies, was just wondering when you were thinking of starting/or had started your maternity leave. I currently work full time in an office based job but was planning to finish work 4 weeks before my due date. It's my first baby so am not sure how I will be feeling at this stage, but don't want to take more time off before the birth than I need as obviously this is less time off with the baby once he has arrived. I'm really struggling to decide but my work are keen to know a date as soon as possible.

I worked up until 37+1, I was full time in an office job and by the end of it I was so bored! My temp had started 2 weeks before I left to give me time to train her up, only problem was that she was really good and didn't need training! So I showed her how to use the system over a space of 2 days and then sat twiddling my thumbs for the remaining time before my ML started! I drank copious amounts of tea during that time!
