My OH got a text yesterday "any sign of baby" Ermmm try the 4th of July not APRIL !!! LoL.Starting to stress about what stuff to buy. How many maternity pads should we buy? (they are on offer at asda) How many nipple pads ( 2 packs of 40 for £2-asda ) Getting my cot and mattress in two weeks plus sheets. Have some lovely knitted blankets. Have some nappies and wipes ..... Have 6 white new born sleepsuits and 6 new white new born vests. Plus various patterned themed sleepsuits in various sizes. Have loads of hats , have one pack of socks , 2 packs of scratch mittens .... Feeling overwhelmed , lol

Lablover sounds like you've made a pretty good start on it. My sister advised me to get quite a few packs of scratch mitts (I think they are 75p for 2 pairs in Asda) as she said they kept dropping off and she kept losing them - even in the hospital!

I need to sort out some sheets and blankets and things - Im feeling very unorganised now as things start to get closer!

Mine too!!!! I now have 3 in the house I have an avent via manual one, and an avent isis electric one that i bought of my friend a couple of months ago and now the nuby one lol I think I will have to decide on 2 of them to go on ebay lol am thinking the avent ones, but not sure lol and also when i was in tesco the other day they had the nuby bottles for something silly like £1.62 each, but i didn't get any as i wasn't sure if i was going to use that or stick with the avent ones. Had a rubbish nights sleep, with reeeaaaalllyyy sore back, and woke up this morning with periody feeling and 'upset' tummy (sorry tmi )
I had planned to do so much today, but think I will just do naff all and watch some old movie on sky once dh has gone to work lol and hope i feel a bit more normal before going to pick up ds 1

Afternoon ladies and bumps!

I've been really busy the past few days so not kept up to date with all your news but try to check and read when I can.

Just a quickie from me today. Seen a 20% off new look online voucher and I'm after some maternity jeans. How is the sizing? With gap I can manage with size 12 maternity trousers but I know gap are usually big anyway and think I'm probably more like 14 in real sizes. I'm pear shaped anyway so bum, hips and thighs seem to be taking the brunt of my pregnancy weight gain. Please share your experiences of new look maternity sizing!
