The evil person in me would have been tempted to fake it for a minute or two just to see her response. :D. Except I wouldn't actually know how as despite this being my 3rd baby I have never actually been in labour yet! :o

Anyone any advice on best carseat for newborn and where's the cheapest place to buy. Looking for something reliable.

You are probably best going to your local baby retailer and getting them to try fitting all of the ones you like the look of in the car you will be using as some seats don't fit so well in some cars and some seat belts aren't long enough for some baby carriers. With our youngest son we had a Ventura s seat which barely fitted in our car (an a4) which is by no means a small car and it would not fit in the back seat of a punt grande at all as it was too big. :(

I wouldn't want to tempt fate too much though as I am only at 27 weeks just now which is the gestation that my oldest son was delivered at and I would never want to live through that king of constant fear again
