Alfalfa tell me about it, I have had labour-style pains for a week, but they never amount to anything. Bored now.
if you are sure it's labour you can... my midwife with DS1 told me to buy some 'just incase'... cause i told her paracetamol did nothing fir me. may want to check incase advice has changed....loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Gratefulforhelp, you must be sooo fed up now. How far are they going to let you go over before induction?
I am soooo boooreeed I could have done another 5 weeks with my Y11s, though admittedly I was pretty knackered and I couldn't have done training the pup.
Good on you for cleaning, I'm too [STRIKE]lazy[/STRIKE] tired. Just waiting for a food delivery that will need put away, then have pup to walk.
I don't know about induction, I have gone AWOL!!!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like they've been pregnant FOREVER! I can't remember what it felt like to not have my baby inside me moving about and even though I want him or her to make an appearance now I think I'm going to miss not having them in my belly! Is that weird?!x

So it hurts the baby when you're preggers but not in labour? Or one dose is ok?
I'm allergic anyway, I think.
If I follow that logic, and I think I'm in labour, can I get really drunk??? I am sooo bored.:( Maybe I should ring the beggars up and insist they induce baby??Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

ohh  for being allergic.
i looked at it this way... it's gonna be no worse for baby in the very late stages then being pumped with morphine/ petadine. i was warey tho and only had 1 dose about 6 hours before i went to mat hosp when i was convinced it was labour and not a few niggles. but it def took the edge off. ... musta done i was 3cm by time i gave up (read couldn't stand for more then 2 mins) and went in.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. Makes good logic. So Gs and Ts all round, then??
So proud of puppy, she just stayed in a sit throughout a delivery of big boxes (she loves a box, and bubble wrap). The delivery guy was astonished and laughed his head off. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Trying to get all our affairs in order before sproglet arrives but I must admit Im really confused. We didnt need to take out life insurance as a condition of our mortgage so have never had any. Our mortgage is pretty small and either of us wouldve coped had anything happened. Plus we had a big deposit so flat is worth more than mortgage. Anyhoo now that we have the baby on the way I want to make sure that if anything happens to OH and I the mortgage is paid off and bubs gets some money. The problem being I dont know what I need is it life insurance or life assurance ? We got sent a quote for mortgage life insurance , but on our death it would only just settle the mortgage and leave no money for our child. So I dont want that , but Im not sure what the term for what I want is , can anyone help ?Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

You maybe need an IFA, but I think assurance=insurance? We have got level term assurance, which pays out a set value until youngest is 21. This to pay off mortgage and leave some money for the kids. You can arrange for the payout to go straight to your estate.
Also, do you have a will? Very important, and also think about guardians just in case you were both on the same plane...(God forbid). Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Thanks for clearing that up Grateful , when I mentioned to my workmate I was after some insurance she went , "you mean assurance " and I was like eeemmm
Just had a look and tesco do a level term cover and you get to pick the amount. Not done my will yet Im being a coward and Im waiting untill after the birth till I do it , keep thinking Im tempting fate if I do it before.
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!
