The Maclaren Pram from Mothercare came yesterday - called the Techno XT - has anyone else got / considered this one? It has rave reviews and I saw one in person from a lady we bought some ebay bits on on the weekend. We also got delivery of our moses basket mattress which is one more thing sorted at least...
What are everyone's thoughts on booties/shoes for newboard? I am sure they're unecessary, especially as our little one is due in Summer, was thinkinf of getting 2 or 3 pairs as otherwise baby will be in socks all the time???:):)

Just had a huge 5 parcel delivery from Mothercare and my cot mattress from Amazon ... thanks for the links on Sunday ladies
I may not be able to walk 5 steps without wanting to cry, but thank goodness I can shop online
I now have everything I need for little man's arrival .... just not sure how I can fill the next 15 weeks
What mattress did you go for in the end? I haven't unpacked mine yet but it feels great.
I have ordered a new mattress, which is divine. Downside is I gotta wait until 5th April for it to be delivered. It has hand stitched sides or something which gives support even when you're right on the edge of the bed or something. But went into Dreams and liked two mattresses there but the wait was the same. Ended up getting my mattress from Sleepmasters in Harveys in the end.
Really ache after my physio and trying loads of mattresses. But OH put together my new nursing chair and am now a lot more comfortable. Under instructions to do my exercises and put ice on my sore bits from physio. I had put my spine out again in a different place so she fixed it but it reaaaaally hurt. Ouch.0 -

Good luck for tomorrow DM11 - I hope it goes as smoothly as possible.
Thanks for the info on the mucus plug/show
I had some more come away a couple of hours ago that was more stringy - sorry, TMI I know! I've also been having slight crampy pains since.
I'm supposed to be out tonight - but not sure if I should go or not. I think I will, and leave early if I don't feel well. I've got zero plans for tomorrow, so will rest then.
Hope everyone and bumps are well x0 -
evening ladies.
sending huge labour vibes to all who need them!
had an exciting day today, BIL came to visit bringing us goodies of a mamas and papas high chair, travel cot, stair gate and cotbedhaving all of it, but not totally sure on the cot bed, i know it's free and i don't want to seem ungrateful but i don't really like it:o going to have a think on it, got loads of time for that and i'm happy knowing that hubby is fine for us to get another one if i really don't like it.

Might be your last night unfettered, enjoy it.
Sounds promising, though.
Home birth ladies, sounds like good bargains on waterproofing. I have bought...don't laugh...a damp proof course.
Got one last time and its really thick waterproof plastic, used the it as weed supressing membrane on the garden afterwards:rotfl:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
