What sort of special features are you after from a bra.............?

(Has visions of the Austin Powers ladies with their gun bits :rotfl:)

    xDx

Maybe I was hoping for something to give OH an electric shock everytime he "accidentally" grabs them!

Seriously though, I though they might have extra hooks for when you grow or something instead of just hideously large and unflattering cups which come above all but my most modest tops and inch wide straps which don't look pretty if they're accidentally revealed. And theyve attempted to improve the support by adding boning in the sides but it just digs into my ribs.

He he.:rotfl: Know what you mean about the bras showing about your top - now, I'm not a floozie or anything :o so my tops aren't particularly low cut, but the cups practically come up to my chin!! Since I'm not aching in the b00by department so much these days, I've gone back to my underwired ones.

    xDx

I do like wide straps. String-like straps don't feel supportive to me. I'm with you on the boning though.

I'm off for a walk to the postbox. It's a 2 minute walk normally but it's up a hill so I expect I will be quite a bit longer.

Congrats on the show Sammy, if nothing else it shows your body preparing itself! I lost mine last week and have just worn a panty liner everyday since to catch anymore that might come away (that and the cream I put on my pile gets into my pants, oh yes, I have no dignity left so Im all about the sharing!) I lost more show/plug this morning after yesterdays sweep.

Good news from the sweep then JoJo! Midwife said that the fact that she could feel the waters in front of babies head is a sign that Ive progressed since last week and it should make for a favourable induction, will hopefully mean the same for you!

Well Im all sorted for tomorrow, and by that I mean Ive been and had the fattest lunch ever at TGI Fridays with mum, bff and OH. Including a sundae meant for two for pudding :D

I'll make sure the bag is fully packed later, need to have a snooze first and spend my last few hours with dd when she comes home.

Hi ladies. Am 25 weeks today. I lurk more than i post (sorry) but i have a question. Baby has moved into a weird position and its damned uncomfortable to lean forward, how do i get him/her to move again. I'm eating starburst sweets but this only seems to encourage kicking!

There is an exercise I have been doing. It helped the baby get off my Sciatica Nerve earlier on in my pregnancy. I am 37 weeks at the mo and it moves the baby away from my ribs, as the little bambino seems to be able to put his/hers legs right under them. If you get down on all fours and arch your back up and then back down. When you back arches up move your head down and move your head back up as you arch back down. I was doing these last night you only need to do it about 10 to 15 times. Hope it helps!! Here s a link to an image to help you.

  • Hiya ladies and bumps

Just lurking while Timothy is asleep and popping in to send labour vibes to you bolded ladies xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 2011
  • Well had my scan yesterday baby looks okay still a little small (just under 6lb) but bigger than DD so I'm okay with that. She wouldn't do a cervix check/sweep and head isn't far down enough :( and would be pointless, so looks like I'm in for the long haul :(:(. Thought your 2nd came earlier?

    SAMMY
when my plug came out my waters went a few hours later but as there was so little the hospital didn't believe me, I didn't really go into labour just had 2 days of bad period pains then it was my pre-booked induction. I've just realised your having the only confirmed March Girl :p.

I'm on knicker watch now too but with the head still floating around I'm not sure why I'm bothering :(

Ah DueMarch, you've just made me really smile. Forget about dignity, it all goes in labour. That lunch sounds like my kind of lunch, and you soooooo deserve that pudding made for 2.
You must be excited now, knowing that tomorrow things will definately be starting. I can't wait til saturday :)

My 2nd came 5 days late, just like my 1st .... but don't place too much on the head being engaged or floating around. 2nd and subsequent babies don't always engage in advance like 1st babies do xx
