  • jojo you will be ok, your body is designed to cope with this. Stay calm, do your breathing exercises and rest. You can do it.

sweeps - I *think* your cervix has to be in the right state for a sweep to be appropriate.

Sammy I have the loose RLT and it isn't too bad - I don't think much worse than the tea bags. When you say put it in the strainer, you are leaving the leaves to stew in the water not just pouring it through right (sorry if you are stewing it and it is still like dishwater, don't mean to patronise!). I have a big strainer almost the size of my cup so I leave it in for 5 mins and then pull out strainer and leaves.

Twinkle welcome :) and I like your plan of making pancakes for 2 and eating all of them (baby counts as 1 anyway right?!).
We are off for tea at a friends tonight and luckily we are having pancakes for pudding - I would prefer to just go straight for them but might have them at the weekend too (we had the american style ones last weekend and they were yummy!) :)

Hello, does anyone remember me from TTC? Maybe not, it was a long time ago but I am pleased to see some EDDs for people who were still trying when I got my BFP! I couldn't keep up with this board as it moved too fast, hence I haven't been on. I hope everyone is alright, I'll try to read back a bit this evening.

Well I am getting stressed. EDD is tomorrow... some signs but I think I'm going over. However the frequent phone calls from the grandmas have begun. I am quite a private person when it comes to emotions, and I really can't do 'yes I'm fine', 'no nothings happening' over and over again, and last time I got 'so how do you feel about being overdue?' (loving it - lets discuss it :wall:)

So I'm ignoring the phone (six calls today so far from my mum). But now I feel mean as she might be worried. But I could be giving birth and then I wouldn't be answering anyway would I.

With the first baby I ended up ignoring the landline, turning off my mobile and not checking email as I couldn't cope with all the enquiries. I am feeling like I need to do that again. People can leave a message, can't they, if they have something to say.

Thanks for letting me let off a bit of steam.

I know exactly what you mean. Mil is calling pretty much every day, oh has had to be straight with her and tell her its doing my head in, her reply was i 've only called twice. I think she had conveniently forgotten she had actually called, tuesday, wednesday, friday, saturday, sunday and twice on monday. I was kind and actually picked up this morning.
My mum texts which isn't as bad, but she then texted me back to ask what a sweep was, i was so tempted to say google it :) but then she called :(
Then you have everyone on the school run, "oh, you've nt had it yet?".....DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT??

Does anyone know roughly what age the maxi cosi cabrio fix and/or pebble go up to? 9, 12, 15 months???

ETA: I know I could google but it's all so confusing and I have no idea how much a X month old baby weighs.

It depends on the length of your baby, rather than weight I've found! Though DS2 was too wide for his wide car seat at 10 months bit tiny lengthways.

My older 8 were in the 0-9 months seats until a year or more.. but Squeak is practically out of hers at 7 months she is so hugely long, her head is right up at the top of the seat.. not over it yet thank goodness.. the one I have my eye on for next is £250 and I don't have the cash at the moment!
