I was given diamorphine too. It just made me sleep for a bit, I actually found the G&A better at numbing the pain.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Evening all!! Looks like everyone has gone to bed-never mind, i'll ramble on anyway :rotfl: Just got in from work and even though i feel dead on my feet (or backside as I am now lol) I couldn't sleep even if i tried lol
Had 28 weeks midwife appointment yesterday, blood pressure fine, bubs heartbeat fine and she took bloodShe felt baby and it's lying in an oblique breech position-i didn't think it was up or down as I feel it stretching out to the sides lol Although she said that would explain why my hips and lower back have been giving me a bit of jip as theres not as much room sideways lol Theres plenty of time for it to move yet though, just strange because the other 2 were never anything but head down from this point.
Also spoke to her about how i got on with the consultant last month, and she told meto still push for c-section when i see him next if it's what i still want-can I just ask you ladies who are having planned c-sections, what the reasons are that you are having them-feel free to tell me to mind my own business though!!
Also FINALLY managed to pick up my bounty pack from sainsburys today, with the £5 voucher in it-very handy as dh works for them so gets discount as well:money: Got some pj's as well to take to hospital-remembered I had a £10 evans giftcard in my purse from agggeeesss ago so went in and they had some reduced to £12 so just paid £2!! And the trousers are black as well, so double bonus!!
Anyway, I hope you are all far, far away in the land of nod and stay that way all night!! lol xx0 -
Hi all,
Happy due day dueMarch! Don't feel guilty for not going out yesterday - you have one heck of an excuse!
Insomniac city here. Sound of a bird chirping outside is lovely though and the peace and quiet is novel!
Madness - I have my consultant appt next week and not sure what they are going to suggest re birth and I haven't made my mind up on what would be best, but I do feel that if you have such strong want for a c section, then it is your body so make sure you get it.
Hope there's no one else joining me at this hour and you are all in the land of nod x0 -
Dipsy - Would love to say that the insomnia goes after bubs is born, but I have been up since 3am and have only just got Sofia back to sleep. Mr Shark and I are now wide awake watching crap tv. Birds are chirping here aswell but they are driving me nuts - there hasnt been much peace and quiet in this house for the past 2 and a half weeks.lol. Would go back to pregnancy insomnia in a minute.lol.[/COLOR] Starting the new year in a good way cooking baby sharkeybabe no2:j:j0

Yep, I remember that feeling Sharkey! Don't worry - am making the most of sleep when I can get it! I used to wish we had a switch to get us back off to sleep after feeds and night duties with DS! Hugs x0

Morning all
I was so tired last night I just couldn't face posting.I'm really struggling with tiredness even after 8 hrs sleep.
I'll try and remember what I was going to say now.
PC good news about bubs weight. Was he round the right way?
Vroom-yay for mat leave :T
Lablover- I also go into that quiet zone you said you go into. It's perfect for labouring. I just focus inwards and everything my body is doing. Im not in the mood for talking and tend to stay quiet and focus on breathing. It totally keeps you calm and I felt I coped fine both times.
My bump has been really low for the last few weeks. I don't get the rib kicks either. I do have the low down hiccups and major pressure on my bladder.
I'm loving feeling the kicks etc, especially as this will be my last. It's the one thing I missed once bubs was here. You get so used to it, I felt a sense of loss for a bit.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Morning,
Awake early again on the weekend when I could be lying in...can't sleep though!

Has anyone got any nice weekend plans?0 -
