Digital - I didn't realise you weren't allowed to wear long boots with SPD, I have been wearing mine. They are a b*ga to get on now I think of it! I have just been out and bought some new long boots from Ethel Austin for £6 reduced. :money:

I was wearing long Woof Wear boots to go in the garden as they are fantastically warm, however I struggled to get them off, and it hurt. I mentioned it to MW/physio who said not to wear them. Basically if you do something that hurts, that is avoidable, don't do it again.

I was wearing my Uggs when I went to physio and she said not to wear them either as they give no support. So I wear my slippers in house or trainers when I go out or in garden now. They are easy to take off. Hence me needing another pair ;)

Midwife appt went well, BP has come down a bit so she was happy enough about that, listened to heartbeat and had a feel to see where bubs is, he/she is lying all over the place basically *rolls eyes* why am I not surprised!! She took fundal measurement so it I measuring more what I should be, last appt I was measuring 4 weeks over my dates (although I know this isn't that accurate!).

Is this your first baby Teenie? Can't remember sowwy :o

I forgot I also got in the post a full size bottle of Veet hair minimising moisturiser to try and then do a review on. They don't know I am pregnant so extra hairy! Will really test this stuff won't it! Might try it on my belly :rotfl:

Seems like a good day for me, so really hoping to follow the theme and like this house we're viewing tonight and get accepted! Pllllleeeeaseee!

Good luck for the house viewing Digital - hope its the perfect place and you can start your nesting :)

Supermaiden - Sorry I don't know about allergies. It must be pretty rotten. Can you pop to the chemist and ask the pharmacist?

Teenie - Thanks for the list, but  at nearly being in the top ten. Cripes. Actually, what happened to the RLT list that was linked to it?

Dipsy- Well done on the MSE shopping :money: I miss shopping. I could do with a good spree. I think our first trip out with baby will be to Bluewater :D

Just booked a cut and blow dry for Saturday - not sure when I'll get a chance once baby is here. Have also booked for a bikini wax for next week when I'll be 38 weeks, so I'll be a bit more presentable down below for the professionals - I daren't imagine what it's like at the moment :rotfl:

Newbie question - can you have contractions without waters breaking?

Thanks hun :) I really hope this house is 'the one'. Wanna get nesting!

I am sure I read somewhere that subsequent babies tend to move about a lot more than first time bubs, so that's maybe why yours hasn't gone head down yet. I may be talking carp tho, so ignore me if so :rotfl::D

Yeah, the hair is fine and blonde, so doesn't look too bad. However will be glad when it drops off!

    ETA: Thanks Sammy! :)

Ive always had light downy hair on my stomach  I once was planning on using veet on my bikini line so I done a patch test on tum.... big mistake huge rash everywhere and it burned my skin , had to go to the Drs for some cream... try explaining that one. He clearly didnt believe I was doing a patch test and thought I was trying to veet my tummy. Got horrid heart burn again and my ears feel like they are on fire.... and I really want some minute maid OJ Roll on five
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Sammy - yes your waters don't have to break first. My Mum's didn't naturally with my sister and they had to burst them for her and flooded the room...nice haha!

I also have hair appointment booked , is going to be when I am 36 weeks and day of my baby shower so at least my hair will look nice haha.

Many people don't have their waters break until well into labour so yes of course..
