I hear you on that nic

I love a cup of tea. So long as I have one first thing in the morning though I'm ok. My problem at the mo is it getting to 9pm and I realise i've drunk no water all day, just copius amounts of RLT, then I neck a pint of H2O before bed and then am up during the night.

    The joys!

The RlT would be ok as a water subsitute though, especially as it hasnt any caffiene. Im trying to force myself to drink loads of water/squash before 4 pm, then I only have a small drink with dinner. its the evening cuppa that has me at the loo twice a night.
Thats what i have to do with my 5 year old so she doesnt wet the bed lol.

    Hello lovelies :)

No news from RBG? Fingers crossed she's on her way to get mummy cuddles.

Ice - I was just thinking that lol. She looks so pretty.....cowbag lol. I feel like a frump today :( Mind you I haven't posted a bmp pic in ages so might get DH to take one later.

    Nic - Congrats on 32 weeks :j It's flying by now isn't i?!

Dusty - If you're having your 3 cups of RLT then that's some good water intake - so don't worry!

GFH - How is Truffle doing?

Not too sure what to do with myself today. DH didn't get in from work til 06:30 so he won't be up til later. I've done all the housework. Nothing to do in the baby's room til we pick up the cot tomorrow. Think I might mop the kitchen floor and have a bit of a lunch and then veg out in front of the box.

Hope you all have a good day and appropriate labour vibes to those in need x

    Afternoon ladies :)

Back from MW appointment. Wasn't my usual one, and she kept me waiting about 45 minutes in a very stuffy waiting room  She was nice though.
Urine fine, bloods all fine, I'm not anaemic. BP fine. Baby's heartbeat 140bpm as it has been last few appointments, so all good.
She measured the fundal height, 31cm, said it was spot on.
She bubs has his head down still, back to my left, and bum up in my ribs! No wonder I can feel such pressure there and it is awkward to bend down :rotfl:

I'm bl%dy starving now, so have had a small cheese pasta salad and got a cup of tea, but will have something else as well.

I bought two toys for the boy on Amazon last night. Highly rated ones by Lamaze. One will go on my gym I won on eBay, and the other can go wherever really. They are lovely bright colours, so should appeal to him.

About two weeks ago, I think it was Apricot, posted a link to a survey to win a £5 Amazon voucher. Well I did this incredibly long, boring survey, but didn't get the voucher. Had given up hope, but got it today by email :T So that's a fiver to use off my cot mattress! I am hoping my M&P stuff turns up today. The tracking says 'out for delivery'.
Got a 10% off voucher for M&S which I probs won't use, and got a £10 off my next order voucher from Very yesterday which came in handy as I wanted to order some new trainers. My other ones are getting scruffy as I wear them in the garden (not allowed to wear long boots now due to the SPD), so wanted some nice ones for best. Will see if they are as nice as in pics.

    So bargain city today! :j

Hope everyone is well, haven't read back yet. Hope RBG is having mummy cuddles!

lablover, so sorry to hear your sad news. Hope you can find comfort in some happy memories x

Digital - I didn't realise you weren't allowed to wear long boots with SPD, I have been wearing mine. They are a b*ga to get on now I think of it! I have just been out and bought some new long boots from Ethel Austin for £6 reduced. :money:

I have been to our local shopping centre this morning - very brave as I haven't walked further that car to school to pick up DS for weeks due to SPD. I took it really easy and stopped for a coffee, which was lovely. Feel so relaxed now - it is amazing what a bit of retail therapy can do for a gal!

I remembered to be MSE though -

free Costa coffee with points on card.
Used advantage points to buy big pack of newborn stage 2 nappies and pack of breast pads.
Took a top back to New look and exchanged for a dress in the sale! (Also bought a nice maternity cardi reduced to £8)
Took some fleece pjs back to Primark and exchanged for some cotton cool short sleeved pjs for the hospital, as I was so hot last time I was in there!

All in all, good trip out!

The amount of people who asked me when I am due though! Got so many stares! I am massive, but I remember being bigger towards the end with DS, so there is more of me to come! Got a shot of my backside in the changing room and was absolutely horrified at how much back and bum weight I have put on:eek:. I got right down to a small size 12 before I got preggers and I think it is going to be a long haul to get back there, not that it will be my priority, but will be making a conscious effort once I can walk again.

Eeeh, sorry for the long post, but I think the trip out has energised me!!!! :j

Love to all and good luck those due early March x x x

Morning ladies, time for a tmi moment....just lost my mucus plug! I know it doesn't mean things are happening, but its a sign that i know my baby will be out at some point (hopefully soon)

Thing its the running around baking cookies for my 11 year old sons outfit for world book day, we only decided this morning that he was going as Jamie Oliver....i know its a cop out, but he went as Harry Potter last year and didn't want to go as him again, and we just haven't had time to sort anything else out. So he has an apron on, a jamie oliver mask, a bucket load of baked fresh cookies and his recipe book...oh not forgetting a t-towel hanging out of his pocket!

    Morning all

I dropped Prince Caspian (Narnia) and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz off to school this morning (for World Book Day)
DD insisted on wearing her red high heeled Dorothy shoes so goodness knows how she's getting on in those (she's taken her regular school shoes to change in to later ;))

Charlie - Hope things are starting to move along for you

Ice - Hope you are resting up x

Apricot - sorry your appt was a let down - my consultant found baby's heartbeat at 14 weeks but the midwife at my 16 week appt said she wouldn't listen as sometimes she couldn't find it that early on and had to send worried ladies to the hospital for scans.

Labour vibes to all those in need x

    Afternoon ladies :D

Mmmm just enjoying my lunch of Red Pepper Humous with carrot sticks and a toasted tortilla yummmmm!

Midwife appt went well, BP has come down a bit so she was happy enough about that, listened to heartbeat and had a feel to see where bubs is, he/she is lying all over the place basically *rolls eyes* why am I not surprised!! She took fundal measurement so I am measuring more what I should be, last appt I was measuring 4 weeks over my dates (although I know this isn't that accurate!).

My hearburn has been a lot better, so I obviously just need to watch what I'm eating and drinking, bread is out for me as is red meat/sausages etc but it will also mean a healthier diet for the next few weeks!!

Hope everyone has a fab day!! :D

Is there anything we can take for allergies? Mine have started in the last couple of days, I guess with spring coming so Im annoying the husband :D with sniffles and not sure what I can take if anything.

Slept quite well last night for a change. So that was nice. Also nice to have a bit of a lie in since Im not at work today :j

Have been wearing my new maternity clothes. I bought myself some leggings to go with my jumper dress and it looks fine but none of my shoes match! Oh the dilemma :p! My dad came by aswell and saw me in my new dress and he said it was nice but I need to lose the belly! Well, like I said to him its a maternity dress! I am pregnant! haha silly dads! :rotfl:Its a good job I didnt take offence!
Trying to get husband to take a bump pic for me. Doesnt seem to have changed since the last one I dont think but worth a look anyway.

Hope all of you are well x
