omg , got serious heartburn... nothing to do with the three bags of space raider pickle crisps I had after organic roll lol. Going to hopefully bake some cakes this evening if OH goes to football. Then my work mate gave me a good book to curl up with.Bliss.Watch this space tho , something will shatter my perfect night lol
Madnessnmayhem I would be livid about baby stuff , its the principle when you give someone a loan of something you expect it back. We have had to buy everything for this baby but have managed to get alot of it second hand it wouldve been great to have something on loan , wouldve saved us a fortune and I certainly wouldnt have kept it. Im  on youre behalf. My MIL is very much like this , she borrowed our in car dvd player to use when she took her grandchild on holiday and never brought it back.
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Ohhh love these crisps BUT they are very strong flavoured :D still you had an organic roll ;)
My DS likes the beefy flavour space raider and they are pretty toxic too - prob why he likes them!

    Sickness

In light of a recent European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruling, the following is applicable if you become ill during your holiday or just before you were due to take it. You can ask to convert the period of holiday concerned to sick leave and ask to take the missed annual leave at a later date.
You should follow the usual procedure for telling your employer you are ill (eg letting them know as soon as you can or providing medical certificates). If you are not sure what your normal process is check your employment contract, staff handbook, or intranet.
You may be unable to take all of your holiday entitlement within your leave year because of illness. In this case, the ECJ judgment also means you may be entitled to carry forward the entitlement you would otherwise lose to the next year.
If you need further guidance on this subject, please contact Acas for advice.

This is from the direct gov website and your terms of employment are very unlikely to be less beneficial than this.

It seems to suggest that they have to let you c/f the holiday.:T

The crisps were the only good thing to come of OH's shopping experience.... well maybe not as I cant deal with this heartburn.I like the beef ones too , been years since I had them , I used to like a tangy tom aswell .Hardly ever eat crisps but being pregnant makes me want to eat junk , lol

Thanks - I might be better doing this then and going off on maternity at 36 weeks straight from sick. That way I preserve my holidays for a time when I can actually get up off the sofa to enjoy them :rotfl:

It's so complicated! Too much for my pregnancy brain to cope with at the moment :p

On an unrelated note - the furniture for bump's room arrived today :D

I once had terrible indigestion it felt like a french baguette was lodged sideways in my windpipe and everything I ate was sitting on top off it. I drank gaviscon straight from the bottle for about four days and ate those chaulky tablets before it went away, I was scared to burp incase bubbles came out , lol xx
