Quite excited about flu-like symptoms meaning things are maybe happening!! Woke up today feeling horrible, nothing specific, just generally run down and sniffly!! Maybe I'll go early
Cant believe the pics of everyone's bumps, you all look so teeny!! I'm 37+5 today and huuuuuuuuuge!! Only upside is that I haven't put weight on anywhere else so hopefully the baby weight will be easier to lose, just means the wee man will prob be a total bruiser!!
Big hugs to all the single mum-to-be's like myself on here, it's hard but we will all managexx

What a nerve!
Think I've put on about 9lb so far but my bump is mahoosive so am hoping for steady weight gain for now on - though from experience I reckon you put on however much your going to put in with each pregnancy - I've been different with each one so far0 -
I don't think we have that many babies due in next couple of weeks, then a bit of a mad rush! Looking forward to seeing some newbies come along too!
I had my coat on today which i think doesn't make me look pregnant and went in a shop and asked when i was due so i am obviously looking bigger!
I have gained a lot of weight, definately top end of what you should gain oops!0 -
Hi Ladies... I'm going to take the plunge and join the big thread too rather than timidly lurking. I'm 11+1 today, due 19th sept by LMP and will have my scan next monday - cannot wait as I've got very few symptoms and spent most of today googling that in an anxious state i know I'm probably just really lucky but can't help worrying.
Met our best man's new baby yesterday - 16 days old and born 9lb 5oz so a big boy - so gorgeous and slept in my and OH's arms during the whole visit. New mum and dad were proud as punch and got very excited when they heard we were expecting too. Holding baby felt fantastic and I can't wait to meet my own. Anyway enough from me for now and I hope this helps bump some of you up... big hugs x FGteam yellow
Can't wait to meet you now baby!0 -
Hi forumgazer, welcome.
Not much to report here so not been on much. I've half packed my hospital bag, I need to get some joggies for me and some toiletries and that's it.I'm hoping I wont need it,but if I go early I won't get my homebirth.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Quick update from me before OBEM starts, I've still got the tail end of the flu
, but it was my last day at work :j. I've got a growth scan on Friday should be an important one as if he hasn't got much bigger it'll be an early induction for me.

Hello! I'm new but too scared to go on the list because it's sooooo long and I'll be all the way at the bottom
I'm hopeful that I can hang around for a few more weeks and then jump in about 1/3 of the way up.
Someone just gave me a load of maternity clothes which I'm really grateful for. Too shattered to go through them yet but will look soon and sort out what I cam use (she's quite a bit slimmer than I am so I reckon jeans and trousers won't fit). I'm also going to play with their pram sometime. They still need it but I could get the same chassis and use their carrycot and car seat.0
