What's the age difference between child and your baby Lablover? Child may be very excited about getting a cousin to play with and when your baby is a bit older trips out together will still make sense. Im sure it will all work out though and your hormones are just making you overthink the situation!

Am absolutely shattered today, really can't sleep in the nights at the moment and was late for work this morning! I think my boss knew not to have a moan at me by the way my eyes were still half shut when I walked into the office!

We have had a few issues with child calling my OH dad by accident , but I think its purely down to their age and getting over excited.

DD1 stood up in church one day and pointed at the pub landlord and shouted "DAddy" at the top of her voice...embarassed doesn't cover it:eek:

Oh it goes onto teenage years... I went to a boarding school for my secondary school education and pupils accidentally called the matron/housemistress/housemaster/teachers either mum or dad on a regular basis. Oh the embarrassment when you accidentally go 'Thanks mum' to your housemistress. :rotfl:

  • Hello all

Labour vibes to those that need them and commiserations to those that didn't sleep very well - I am getting worse on the sleeping front mainly due to my aching hips and shoulders - it is easing me back in to the not having enough sleep club gently though so guess I shouldn't grumble - but I do!

OH felt baby moving for the first time on saturday night - usually when he puts his hand there she stops kicking but this time she didn't :)
He was really pleased - though at first he just said - is that you moving? - don't think he could really believe it - was grinning away :)

It's when you are on the phone to your boss and end my saying "love you" as you forget who you are talking too!!:o

DD1 (8) Called OH Nanny the other day. (Nanny as in Grandma, too skint for the other kind!)

I started laughing at my netbook as my aunt was walking past my room. She literally looked at me and said 'I don't even want to know'.
