my1stbaby- That's how I feel, I know the midwives couldn't care less about my lady bits but I think I want to keep some sort of dignity! I keep flashing my bits at my OH and saying "how bad is it?!" and he just shakes his head and walks away. Charming...

How is everyone doing on the stretch mark front? Touch wood I haven't gotten hardly any yet and the ones I have are only a few on my hips. I started off using Bio Oil but I found it a bit greasy so I've just used normal moisturiser since then. I've probably just jinxed myself now, loads will suddenly appear on my belly!

firedrone- Have you looked on WH Watts website? It's a family run pram business in Middlesbrough and it's been around years. They stock all sorts of prams, we got ours from there and it's a really well known around here. Maybe they have the one you're after!

What is eveyone doing about their lady gardens?! I know, I know, it's a bit crude! I haven't seen mine in a few weeks now, but I did go for a bikini wax a few weeks ago and plan on going soon but I don't know if I should bother?! I used to be pretty "tidy" down there but now I can't be bothered! But now i'm starting tto wonder if the midwives will be shocked???

I just re read what I wrote and now I realise how daft I sound...I'm pretty sure the midwives won't bat an eyelid, I'm probably just being an idiot aren't I?!

I'm the same. Had to get my OH to shave my legs for my physio appointment as I just can't do it. That was embarrassing enough. I know it's my OH but I don't like him seeing me hairy :( Can't ask him to do my bits as he'd probably 'try it on' and tbh that's the last thing on my mind :o:o:o May get a wax or something closer to the time. I certainly can't see down there at all :rotfl:

Don't ya just love it when you bend forward slightly to eat something, then bubs wallops you right under the boobage department! Gives me a start, and when eating soup, nearly goes everywhere :rotfl:

I had a hideous tummy ache in the early hours of the morning, and again when I woke up. Also had really bad back pain, but fingers crossed that seems to have eased. TMI - feel a little blocked up, maybe that's the cause of the tummy trouble. Have felt like that the past few days. Like every time I've been for a wee I feel I need the other, but can't go. I have been today but still feel I need to go IYKWIM. I may take my Pregnacare and Iron tablets, which I haven't taken in ages, as that normally makes me looser :rotfl: Though it's not very nice either way is it. I guess it's coz bubs is squashing my insides so much. Blimey, I still have just over 9 weeks left as well :o

    Afternoon ladies :D

Wow what a lovely day here today, windy but sunny!

My colleague has just brought her 3 week old wee boy in and he is gorgeous, I can't believe I'm going to have one in about 8 weeks!! Very exciting but also a bit . He was soundo so never got a cuddle but I'm going out to visit her in the next couple of weeks so will get cuddles then.

Spaghetti huge congratulations! Looking forward to some piccys!

Susan it's a shame you feel like that, I think the beauty of these threads is that there are lots of ladies all at different stages. Some have had children before and others haven't, you therefore get a nice eclectic mix of experiences and knowledge. But like some other have mentioned there are always the other threads if you don't feel comfortable here just yet.

Coops fab news for being term! How exciting, it's just a waiting game now!

I NEVER got to the point I could not reach to shave my own legs.. not ever... and I have been immense.. I was bigger with 1 baby than my friend due the same week who had twins! Even when I had SPD I managed.. you just lean over from the middle and do it.. or pop a foot on the loo and squash the baby a bit... I had to do each leg in 4 or 5 goes as my blood pressure went wappy and I saw sparkles but I also painted my toenails before I went into hospital with all of them! That was harder lol

Ive got no energy today. I feel totally drained like I did in the first tri and feel like I could sleep all day. Im struggling to walk up for the school run as I feel the baby is going to pop out any minute. There is so much pressure down there.

I take the car on at least 1 of the journeys but its mental to park.

I dont know how im going to cope for the next 9 weeks. Poor DS wants to go to the park when I pick him up, but its down a hill then back up to pick DD up.

    sorry for the moan lol

I feel better just having that wee more lol. I just feel like Ive doubled in size and I have to haul it all about, it must be all the carp ive been eating.

Speaking of hairy bits... ive not had to shave my legs at all during this pregnancy. I usually have to do it once a week at least but it just hasnt grown at all. Im not sure if I could reach them anyway. Ill get the mirror our for an all over tidy up in a few weeks:o
I wonder if slow hair growth means a girl or boy?
