I wish!!! Still in hospital trying to get that baby out. Day 4 now, ready for labour ward but no bed available. EDD + 15. bump is getting heavy and contractions painful

Aw flower, I was really hoping you would be having cuddles by now. Fingers crossed it's soon.

I can't help but think something is not right and I'm not really in labour. Why am I here posting? Everyone else seems to disappear when they have their babies. I had to turn my TENS off cos I wasn't even 100% sure I was still having contractions, but I am, so the TENS is definitely doing something.

OH is on a cleaning spree! The rabbit has eaten more veg over night which is good. But she's still not right

As for 'show' and 'plug', well I thought they were the same, but I definitely had what I would call a 'show' (ouch that was a painful contraction)....anyway the show was just EWCM with streaks of blood. The actual plug was unmistakingly the plug - it was just a glob of jelly!

Whilst waiting for doctor to talk about c section (hours wait) I started contracting and cervix opened to 3cm! Hurray! No need for CS.
Apparently i'm number 2 to get a delivery room where they will break my waters and put me on a drip to get things going. There is hope it will be by tomorrow.

Giz glad the TENS is working for you, I was sceptical about it but they really do take the edge off. How far apart are your contractions now?

I don't know - I'm struggling to time them. Need an iphone with the app really. I'm forever running to the loo. Keep dribbling.

Actually they are getting quite painful now. think this might be me signing off now

Perdi, glad you feeling a bit better. Hotel sounds like a good plan.

Our in-laws asked if we wanted a few days away. They have holiday property bond things but I don't want to leave my kitten that long yet!

Just had my hair cut, gone a bit shorted so hopefully more practical for when baby is here.
