i think babies r us looked quite cheap Perdi

However my parents brought mine so i cant really comment as i could only buy from their catalogue so was limited to looking at that lol.

Trying to be a grown up today. Keep fantasising about buying items for baby that i dont actually need but i want. Was really considering buying them too. Then grown up me reminded me i have debt to clear and if i ever want more children then more IVF to pay for so i need to be practical and knuckle down.

Labour vibes for those in need.

Hi Ladies, just a quick catch up before I read back over what I have missed.

I have been at OH's since Thursday so have been missing from here.

Bubs gave me a bit of a scare yesterday, he didnt move for hours (or I couldnt feel him anyway) but he gave a little kick late last night just to remind me he's still OK in there! I defonately have a lazy one!

Hope everyone is OK, labour vibes to those in need x x

  • Hey ladies!

Perdi, I would be tempted to go for it if it's a lot cheaper. As you say, you'll have CC protection.

Naughty baby ice! I'm sure they just do it to worry us! (Well that's what it seems like anyway :o)

FF, fab pics. My mum was asking if we wanted a 4d scan the other day and I am tempted...

I had a trip through to Falkirk today. picked up the crib bale I ordered from Mothercare and went to the Asda there. Got the pink Play Gym for £9.00, a pack of size 2 nappies with the voucher from the newborn set for £2 and the swim kit for £1 with the other voucher. Shattered again now though. i think a quiet day in the house tomorrow is on the cards, I don't think I'll be let out anyway! :rotfl: Keep getting told off for over doing it.

Labour vibes to all in need.

(I finally said hi on the FB group, I've been feeling too shy. :o)
 Mummy to an amazing little girl

Just lurking to see if there are any new babies. Looks like there will be a bumper crop of announcements soon though ....

In the meantime, just wanted to say re gym balls that we have been using ours to sit on and rock baby to sleep, so if you think they might not be worth buying just for a few weeks pre-birth.
We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.

Had noticed you were MIA. Baby D was very quiet too yesterday! i kept saying, that I hadn't felt him/her. Maybe it's just the stage we are at? Although the MW on Thursday said there is still loads of room in there. Who knows!!

I bought some fybogel today, had some of it earlier and still nothing...

The woman in boots kept trying to give me advice and i was saying "Yes i know, my MW told me all this. But i want something to help now, not long term.."
But she kept repeating her advice :rotfl:

EA fybogel didn't work for me either :(. Short term only thing that worked for me was lactulose. However remember someone saying you have to drink loads of water to get the fybogel working, might be worth a go?
    You have my sympathy tho.

Ice, had wondered why you'd been so quiet! Not read back yet, been out all day so sorry if I've missed anything!

Some friends of OH's gave us loads of baby clothes, gorgeous stuff, probably more than bubs will get through, been loving going through them. Need to get them a gift or something to say thanks, I don't know them very well but their youngest is just over 6 months and they have one bigger, anyone got any suggestions?
