I think my mum was talking about something similar. She phoned me up to say she'd been reading the "Money Saving Martin" (how she calls him!) email and there was something about insurance and women, and to make sure I sort my insurance out this week!gratefulforhelp wrote: »Popping in to say haven't fallen off the edge of the world, but been away, and now have my fur baby, she is snoozing in her basket.
Ahhhhhhhh, a new fur babyWhat's her name and can we have a piccie pls! My fur baby is fast asleep on the sofa
sammy insurers are carp - I would love to know why mine is more expensive this year than last but I couldn't find it any cheaper than Churchil (I don't think they come up on comparison websites)
It's rubbish this year isn't it?? I was sorting out DH in Jan and his renewal had gone up - whereby it always goes down. Fortunately my renewal is lower than last year. After following Martin's guide and doing the comparison sites, Direct Line etc, all the quotes are at least £100 more than my renewal  The only saving I can find is First Direct who work out about £20 cheaper - so I've saved that quote and might see if my current insurer will match.
:mad::mad: at car insurance. And you just know next year when you tick the box to say you do have your children, it will go up even more!
Spaghetti - Fingers crossed things are moving for you!0 -
Congrats Krystal and Janinie!
Good luck Tickle we will be thinking of you lots, post once you are able and feel up to it so we know how you are ;o)
Supermaiden same issue here - I haven't bought any maternity stuff yet as especially online it's so much of a faff to send it back, but I will be taking Apricot's advice and buying in my normal size. This is assuming of course I don't keep devouring food like mad and go up 2 sizes in February alone!:):)

Good to know there are some kind people out there to look out for you.0 -
They seem to be adding more to the sale since I posted. There is a dress now too for £8 in sizes 10, 12 and 14.:j0

Went to see midwife - she's arranging an appointment for later in the week at the hospital for a heart film, scan and a further plan. Unless of course anything happens in the meantime.........
