    Yay on 24 weeks Madbird!

Dusty Can you say to her that DH (always blame the man) wants to get everything set up and ready now just in case you go into labour a few weeks early? Say you could drive up and she can just put it in the boot of your car and DH can get it out the other end?

Morning all, Im in work but boss is not in until lunchtime and have only taken one phonecall this morning so looks like im in for a quiet day - just need to find a way to entertain myself without spending money that I haven't got on baby stuff! Im trying not to buy anything else until I've had my anomoly scan and we hopefully know the gender - I've seen so many gorgeous things over the weekend but they were all quite gender specific - only a couple of weeks to wait but it's killing me!

    Another valentines baby :j. Congratultions.

Congratulations to Lauren and Honeypop and Stargirl too. :T

Crumbs, I get behind with this and eeryone has babies. I'm only lurking anyway. I just don't want to leave you all yet :o

Shazza - my bag was nearly packed, and I finished it off between contractions, which was interesting, as DH kept having to tell me when my next one was due so I could get comfortable for it :D

sammy - rlt tastes different depending how long it brews for. shorter is more bitter, longer gives more raspbrry flavour, and if the water isn't boiling it'll nnot get much of the raspberry flavour at all (typing one handed now with a sleepin matthew on the other). i like herbal teas anyway, so i liked drinking it

wow kristal. I''m really impressed with your 11 pounder. huuuge congratulations

yay, more congratulations to janinie :T

all caught up now. i will try and do a birth story and a pic this week.

  • Congrats to all the new babies !!!! there have been loads , lol.Makes it seem very real. All of you guys that are aware of the free boots changing bag saga, I GOT MY BAG !!!! YAY. Popped in to pick up my order (the bargain wipes ) and some nappies and also picked up a cute outfit while waiting for box to come through. Anyhoo I had explained to the shop assistant about the bag disappearing and I gave her my reference number she got the manager over who opened my order to check it wasnt actually in the box , then when she saw it wasnt there she went and got one off the shelf and packed it into box and apologised for inconvenience and even offered to carry my massive box to the car :o I had parked right infront of shop so did decline kind offer , but the staff at my local boots have been more than helpful recently , was very touched. They really do go that extra mile for pregnant customers. Nothing exciting to report , just about to eat a fresh scone ( made by my own fair hand yesterday) with jam mmmmm
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

    Good morning ladies.

Congrats on the births - all lovely names.

I have been pretty lame with posting. By the time I've caught up I'm usually ready for another snooze! I'm 14w5 today and just got the results of the downs screening and it was negative with a 1 in 8800 chance so I'm chuffed about that. :D

I've not really got much to add to the thread at the moment but wanted to keep in touch and whilst I am lurking, I will refrain from posting unless I have something worthwhile to say!

Wishing you all a happy Monday x

Doglover feel free to just randomly babble like I do! :D It's not very often I have anything worthwhile to say but I post anyway!

    :jYay for low Downs result!

Have you started getting a bump yet? Mine has only just become noticable to other people I think - first person asked me if I was expecting on the weekend and I was pleased to say yes it's not just fat!:p

Lablover My Boots were a PITA when I went to collect my order. The store assistant had to get a security man to carry it for her as it was so heavy (30 packs of wipes) - I asked if someone could help me to the car which was literally right outside and she just huffed and said "you'll have to wait until I can find someone to help" in a really peed off voice. A lovely man who was in the queue ended up carrying it out for me after hearing her but I was quite annoyed tbh, if she couldn't carry it how on earth was I meant to?

I bought some maternity leggins in Dorothy perkins at the weekend and the sales assistant said " erm I dont know if youve noticed but youve picked up maternity leggings , do you want to swap them while I ring your dress up on the till " er no I NEED THEM !!!! lol
Apricot thats rubbish about your local boots, like I say mine have been great. I now have 12 packs of the johnstons wipes and 4 packs of asda wipes ( you get 80 wipes in asda pack) How many do you need?

Great news Doglover must be a relief for you! And like Apricot says, a lot of us speak a load of rubbish on here anyway so don't worry about waffling :rotfl:

Lablover good news about your bag, seems a few people were having a palaver with it!

I've just wakenend up :o I really didn't feel well all of a sudden and feel asleep on the sofa, poor wee toots has had to entertain herself (which she is very good at anyway but still....) and she went and got a blanket for me wee soul!
