What spurs me on to get all the baby stuff sorted out now, is that if I'm stuck in hospital, DH would not have a clue!! I've just given him a tour around the baby's room to show him where everything is. Oh, and I've set up the baby monitor today and the little lullabies made me all teary
:D
Ooooh, and this week is my last week at work :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:D
Well after you asked me if DH would have any idea I decided today to pull my finger out and get myself a bit more sorted. After I'd done the cupboard and my bag I then gave DH a bit of a tour and explained where everything was, explained which nappies he would need to bring, which pads if I need anymore and what sized clothes each drawer holds
Hopefully now if he needs to pick anything up from the house he will have a bit more of an idea what and where everything is

Goodluck for tomorrow Tickle.
Yay for 24 weeks Madbird.
Krystal, im looking forward to reading your birth story.
I'm just about to throttle DS as he refuses to get dressed and he thinks it's fine to walk up to school in his jammies. I'm trying to keep cool cos shouting at him makes him more stubborn. Looks like it will be a last minute crying match at 8:30 !!!:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Aw poor you Nic, they can be little horrors in the morning especially when you are in rush, I usually try the "I'll race you to get dressed/time you" with K and it always works
I woke up again this morning with VERY swollen tonsils, they are not painful but they just about cover the whole of the back of my throat, no much wonder I couldn't breathe when I was sleeping!!! Anyone else get this?"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Good Morning Ladies,
Congrats on 24 weeks MadBird - Sorry for the rubbish nights sleep
Having my first RLT of the day. I wonder if it will actually make a difference?! Off to get in the shower and walk the dog and then just potter around the house today I think - finish off the washing and mop the kitchen floor. Exciting life hey???
Hope everyone has a good day x0 -
Hello ladies
Well I won't go into how tired I am. Same !!!!!! different day. I wish I was finishing work now, god knows why I thought it would be a good idea to work upto 38 weeks. Think I need to look at taking some extra time off, or having a few *sick* days.
We are all sorted now for baby except for the few essentials my friend has promised us, moses basket, baby bouncer, baby monitors, breast pump.
she is not the most organised person in the world, whereas I like to be super organised. she has a very stressful job and 2 toddlers so I'm trying not to mither, at what point should I start getting worried about not having the stuff yet?
I can hang on for everything else but I'm desperate to get the moses basket as I'm not sure what it looks like, what condition it is in etc, it might not even be suitable for all i know (not that i'd say that to her). Still 5 weeks til my due date.
I keep offering to go and pick it up and she is like 'oh no, i'll bring it to you, you shouldn't be carrying it all' but still no sign..............how do I gently remind her without coming across as demanding?0
