Wish my bubs was head down.......he/she likes lying horizontally across my belly *goes off and sulks*

I guess I will slow down with the carrots. Don't want to turn orange... But carrots are so sweet and crunchy and yummy... *sneakily checks there is still one in the fridge for tonight* and ema luckily I'm not that into sweets and things (bar a few sour strawberry wands and tangfastics every now and then. and maybe a cupcake here or there...) and I tend to be able to resist the junk food better these days. Major cravings have just been tomatoes, carrots and lemon juice. And I indulge in mushrooms cooked in butter and pepper but that's just a guilty pleasure every now and then :P

LOL I'm sure you'll be fine with a few a day. Mum said it was like a proper addiction and she used to have to check she had plenty for during the night as she would get up when everyone else was asleep and munch away!! She was going through a lot a day. They are very good for you so I wouldn't give up.

I think my baby is going to come out looking like the gingerbread man from Shrek the amount of junk im eating. But what baby wants, baby gets - how can I deprive my child before they're even born?

oooooooooo do you ladies remember a rant I had a few weeks ago about a website I went into and although it said it was UK wide it had no info for Northern Ireland???? Just got a rather detailed email from them regarding their investigation and apologising and assuring me that they would be sourcing information on Northern Ireland from now on....score!!!!!! lmao

I had a thing for cherry tomatoes the last two nights. Was extra greedy last night and finished half a tub off - seriously paid for it later with heartburn, so won't be doing that again! They did taste lush though :rotfl:
Oh and sauteed mushrooms are absolutely scrummy

Althought IIRC you were hospitalised at one point so are obviously having a much harder time than me as I have managed to avoid that thankfully- I hope you're feeling a lot better now, or at least are able to function more normally. It is harder the first time as you don't really expect it and you don't know at what point the Doctors should start taking it seriously. Last time I'd been really bad for a week and lost a stone before I was admitted whereas this time I was more proactive in making sure I saw the doctor so had only been really badly sick for three days and lost five pounds when I was admitted. (I also bought full spectrum urine dipsticks so I was able to check for ketones in my urine myself.) It is really hard to get an idea of what is normal from talking to other people as everyone assumes that what you are experiencing is the same as you - I have one friend who was really miffed that I got admitted to hospital last time when she didn't but then told me that she didn't like to take the anti-emetics because not ebing able to drive was too inconvenient. Don't feel guilty about taking the medication - if it is working for you then you are able to eat better and have better nutrition which is better for the baby. If they worked for me I would take them - the only reason I'm not is that two didn't work and two made me worse so it seems foolish to keep trying different ones.

OMG is that true? I may have to try that and see if it works. The chemist said it doesnt look like conjunctivitis, just an irritated eye. It is still a bit crusty and itchy but no puss ( was going to write that another way but didnt know how to without it being rude)

I was quite shocked by the screaming one. I do appreciate that everyone deals with it in different ways etc. but I felt sorry for anyone a little bit nervous who arrived when she was being wheeled down the corridor.
