apricot, I did say some time ago that if bubs takes after OH it'll be lazy and arrive late so I'll probably end up staying here too.... all by ourselves (with the few people due july onwards). Brings a tear to the old eye.
(btw ladies sorry for posting so much. Am currently in a manic episode so very energetic and talkative)
LMAO never apologise for posting too much we worry if we don't see posts from the members (and there will be some new ones along soon enough from the 12 weeks and under thread I'm sure lol)The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
Pixie - whenever I ask, I get let out of the barriers and back in again. Don't forget to add in that you're PG, and smile. They let DH through when I was only 3months pg so that he could carry my bags on to the train for me.
I think I want my baby out now. I got into a bit of a 'I can do it' mindset the other night. So while that's still lingering and I'm not panicking I want to go for it.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
OMG!!! Im 27 weeks today!!! Cant believe it - total madness - where has the time gone?!!? Home all bumps are doing well xxMSE has changed me for the better!!DD1 arrived 15/5/11, ]:money:0

Afternoon ladies! I had a fab sleep last night, no tea = no hearburn = full night sleep!
Ok I can't not have tea everynight but I will just have to cut back and eat lots more veg (like I should be doing anyway!!
)
I wasn't going to bother with the doctor tbh. I've bathed it in salty water and have a clean hanky so I'm not using my fingers. I might pop to the chemist later if it doesn't improve. Where do these things come from?
I'm trying to keep the kids away from me too but DD is off school not well. This will be a very long day.poor you, that's not good! I have had an idea though
.........has your milk started coming in yet? It's fantastic for conjuctivitis
Ok OK I don't suppose you are going to sit there squeezing your boobies to see (like I do
) and I doubt there would probably be enough LOL!!

I need to confess. I just had a lunch of carrots after snacking on carrots for days. Thus, if after birth I do not post a picture of bubs, you will know it's because I have given birth to a baby carrot. Just thought I'd notify everyone in advance.
...Wait doesn't eating too much carrots make your skin go orange?! *pushes plate of carrots away*A-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

Back from my MW appointment
Couldn't find my wee pot, think OH put it somewhere in disgust :rotfl: Said I could do one there, but she said not to bother. Took my blood and swabs for MRSA. Won't hear back if all clear, so hopefully won't hear back! Don't need to have GTT testing thankfully. My blood pressure fine, baby's heartbeat good and strong, around 140bpm. He also obliged with a punch, which could be heard on the doppler as I felt it :rotfl:
She also said it felt like baby's head was downShe has written what looks like a 6 on my notes under presenting part or lie, but think it's meant to be a C, just weird writing :rotfl: So seems like baby has got the idea, hopefully he'll stay there now!
She's given me a leaflet so I can book my Parentcraft and breast feeding classes. Think it may be at the hospital which I'm not that pleased about. Always a nightmare parking, plus the fee to pay. Oh well.
Peeing it down with rain so the piggies are inside today bless them. I'm in a lot of pain now after doing a little bit of shopping after my MW appointment, and trying to find OH a Valentine's Day card. And then it cost 3 bl%dy quid! :mad:0 -
MSE really isnt working now on my work computer ,I could cry. I will need to be a night time poster (when I remember )Will really try to get my scan piccies on at the weekend , they arent very good. Apparantly the reason why Ive felt my baby move from 16 weeks is because of my placenta being at the back , means I can feel everytime bubs boots my belly ,lol. The midwife did put on my notes that my placenta was low , but not too much of a worry. In other news , we are booking a holiday for Christmas. Going up to Aviemore with my mum,dad , sister and partner and my OH.Mum really freaking me out , she phoned to say she had found ideal chalet and was phoning to check if they could supply a cot !!!!! I was like OMG I will have a baby , everyone else will be off skiing n Il be home with a baby.OH is a gem at the minute , he is getting sky put in our bedroom tonight , so I will be able to watch Marchlands in bed , yay !!! (anyone else who watches it ,!!!!!! with the pregnant woman , you were lead to believe she was having her first ever scan yet she looked like she had smuggled a bowling ball up there ) Dont worry Apricot and Pixie I'l still be around in July...... just , lolThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!
Gorgeous baby boy born 7/7/110 -
What a healthy craving Pixie. Believe me if I give birth to a creme egg or packet of tunnocks teacake I will just find a cute baby pic and post that instead
(**thinking about the size of creme egg compared to baby's head, that could be a good thing!!)
Altho yes I did hear it can turn your skin orange, maybe try not to go too crazy with it!!0 -
I...Wait doesn't eating too much carrots make your skin go orange?! *pushes plate of carrots away*
Yep my mum was eating 2Ibs carrots a day and was totally addicted to them, it was the doc that noticed her skin was turning orange (probably wouldn't notice it now with everyone going round with really bad fake tans LOL!!!)digitalphase wrote: »She also said it felt like baby's head was downShe has written what looks like a 6 on my notes under presenting part or lie, but think it's meant to be a C, just weird writing :rotfl: So seems like baby has got the idea, hopefully he'll stay there now!
When I asked the MW last week what way baby was lying she told me but said that it really didn't matter this early on as there is still so much room to move round about, there is nothing on my notes about the position. Suppose everywhere is different."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0
