Hmm, I can have a gender scan on Sat with Babybond for £79 - I really want to book it but am totally skint so it would have to go on my credit card.

We were planning to not find out this time but Alice is so convinced it's a girl that we've decided it's worth it to know whether we need to spend the following twenty weeks telling her it might not be a girl.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Do they definently tell you the gender at your 20 w scan Apricot? Just checking as they don't tell us up here. I nearly got one done at babybond but decided to wait for the lovely surprise.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0

Some places won't tell you in case they get it wrong...I know of one woman was told a baby boy and out popped a girl and they had painted everything for a boy :SThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

I think that's why they don't tell you here, incase you sue them.
I meant to add this the other day when some people were talking about Babaslings.
I have one of these Freedom slings. They are pretty similar but a bit cheaper. It was great for feeding and carrying them when you doing housework etc. Plus you can use it on your hip when they are 2-3 yrs. Mine was only £15 from their eBay shop, it was a few years ago though. Just thought I'd share.

I didn't go with babybond i went with a company in Portsmouth for my gender scan. But it was sooo worth it.
I got some amazing photos and you could clearly see his winky.
At my 20wk scan the photos were terrible and she said that she thinks she might see something sticking out.
ILs paid for ours though
Edit: I had it just after 16wks aswell0 -
So.....nobody missed the sadistic one?
Hope you're ok.....I only got lured back in as ema mentioned Tunnocks teacakes....gimme gimme gimme

I plan on asking the sonographer what his margin of error is and to what certainty level he can predict gender based on the images... I'm worried he might think i'm a bit weird as I'll then be conjuring up pie charts and probabilities in my head...A-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
Good Luck to all who comp!

Good Evening Ladies
Apricot - Can you hold out another 4 weeks? We were going to get a gender scan but thought better save the money and wait a few weeks - and if things were hazy at the NHS scan then we would get a private one done. But we didn't. This is MSE after all :money: Although I know you just wanna know now!!
Had my 34 weeks bloods taken today by a moody MW. Someone hadn't taken her happy pills today. At least I didn't have long to wait and the hospital car park only cost me a £1 :money::D
Hope all bumps are behaving themselves.
Labour vibes to the Boldies - esp Hngrymummy0
