Hi everyone - quick flying visit. Sorry to say but I queue jumped. Baby boy - Thomas Samuel was born on Monday morning after my waters broke 2 weeks early. 6lb 5...such a little cutie :j xxx

Digital - have you decided on your mattress yet for the M&S cot? - I am planning a trip to Ikea perhaps at the weekend and was going to have a look as I'm getting mine delivered shortly.

Exactly - it's a pile of poop! I've felt like carp almost every day since my BFP :rotfl:

Not decided on mattress yet, but will probably go for the one I saw on Amazon for £40. Would be tempted by the IKEA one, but got to add around £15 in fuel costs to it, so doesn't work out such a bargain then. If you get one, let me know what it's like please!

What's everyone doing regarding car seats and bases ? We weren't going to buy so early, but Mothercare are doing 10% off at the minute, so tempted. We don't have an ISOFIX car, but want a car seat that is compatible with our buggy.
I was looking at the MaxiCosi. Our buggy is the M&P Zoom, and I am sure they said the MaxiCosi is compatible using the Aton adapters. Anyone got a clue? Probably the same scenario for the Sola?

Digital - I've got a Maxi Cosi Cabrio car seat. They retail for around £125, but you can get them cheaper if you keep your eyes peeled. I got mine on Amazon for around £60 :money: RE the base this confused me for ages - but I think I have it figured out lol. At the moment the car seat is in my car secured with the seatbelt which is fine. But I would like a base for convenience - but again I'm waiting for a good price. I should have bought it at the same time as I got the seat as now they're back up to full price. Basically my car has got Isofix points, but stupid Ford make you pay for them to cut the upholstery to expose them. Therefore I am looking at the Maxi-Cosi EasyFix base which can be secured with the seatbelt instead of the Isofix anchor points. Does that make sense????
