Yeah DH is getting the snip too, he wasn't keen at first so I said i would get sterilised but he has come round to it, and it is easier for a man than a woman. I was told that he couldn't get it done until xx amount of months after the birth of the baby, is this true?
I hope that's not true. I'm not sure how long the waiting list is here but we were hoping it would be done within the next 6 months. We are both 40 & this will be child no 3, hopefully that will go in our favour. Also with my history of miscarriages, well I just can't go there again. We are absoutley delighted we are having another baby but 200% sure this will be my last pregnancy no matter what. I know my local hospital in some cases will sterlise women when they do a c/section so I don't see why men should have to wait for the snip.0 -

Congratulations Chakani and Lilacpixie and cpoir :j
Regarding cravings - I've wanted sour things all the way through - lemons, tomatoes, sour swets etc. But also sweet things at times - haribo, caramac.....
Pixie - I didn;t glow until recently I'm afraidAnd when I did, people kept commenting on it. I guess because I'd been such a grey/green colour for so long it was quite obvious. You'll get there, but I'm afraid it might be a while if you're like me.
Sammi - really sorry. I'm still hereGot back and was really tired, then got an e-mail from work reminding me about a project I forgot to hand over. Oooops. Due to the contractions I had yesterday I figured it would be a good idea to sort it today.
Sorry everyone. It would've been a great waterbirth though. If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
Congrats on the new babies, very exciting!
I think we will be waiting for 3 or 4 years after this one as couldn't afford to have two in full time childcare at the same time. You never know I might decide I don't want to work anymore though!0 -

My hospital have asked if I want to be steralised whilst I am having the C Section. It was all a bit odd to be honest and I wasn't expecting the question at all. I don't even really know how I feel about it as I haven't stopped to have a chance to consider it!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110

Interesting you've posted that. I don't how baby will be appearing, but if I have C Section I'm tempted to ask. I've not discussed with OH yet. I'm sure at 40 I won't be in any rush to produce another quickly/ever again as I've not exactly enjoyed this pregnancy.:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:0
