Chakani she is absolutely gorgeous, what a fantastic photo! She doesn't look that big in the photo for a 10lber!! She is just beautiful!
    Afternoon everyone

Have been busy for once at work this morning :(

What a gorgeous little girl Chakani - congratulations!

Labour vibes to those at the top of the list

LL - hope the scan goes well and you manage to stay team yellow x

Re cravings - not sure I've had any yet this pregnancy - I don't particularly recall having them with any of my other pregnancies.
The main difference between my pregnancies with DS and DD was no sickness with DS and sickness with DD.
Thus my feeling that this baby is a girl - however I am most likely wrong :o - will hopefully find out next week

Now that will be interesting I have a feeling it's a boy this time due to the levels of sickness. I was really bad last time and had girl, but it is much more bearable this time, hence the hunch. I am really looking forward to seeing what hngry is having since she has been so sick too ;) Of course someone will now come along and say they were sick with one and not the other and they were the same sex LOL!

I am having a girl and hardly got sickness, but i guess could depend on the person!

Sammy - that is scary close! It does seem like yesterday that you were 20 weeks or so! Time seems to be going so fast and dragging at the same time.

That's what I was thinking, but I didn't like to say it. :o I'd probably say no to most of it for just that reason, but I'm a stubborn mare! :p
    Me too!

I'd probably take the free play gym if you don't already have one. And if you wanted them for back-up incase you needed them, then also the bottles and steriliser (I'd get new teats if hers are used). But everything else you can do without for those prices, bearing in mind it's secondhand - family or not.

perdi my sis bought a tummy tub (I may have made her lol) but it wasn't very good when baby couldn't support her own head as it was quite difficult to support & when she was bigger she couldn't stretch out in it properly (I think it only got used 3/4 times tbh)

Aww Chakani she is gorgeous, what a fab picture as well :)

Perdi, I would be tempted to say no to most stuff she's offering for money, but I'm a bit stubborn like that - doesn't seem right for family to sell stuff especially when your OH's bought stuff for their baby. One of my friends was offered a baby monitor she'd bought her SIL the year before for about £40!!
You might find other friends / family offer you the same things (but for nothing), or you would probably pick things up at a car boot / NCT sale for similar prices.

Just had a bit of a funny turn not eating from breakfast 'till 1pm, popped out to grab my lunch, inhaled it, then had to top up with a mcD's cheeseburger, ooops!!

Thanks ladies. I've been trying not to think about it to deeply as I get wound up but it's good to know my feelings are valid. It's not the first time this has come up so I know it's not hormones lol.

I already said no to a couple of things she was trying to sell and OH was on board with that as he thought it was cheeky esp the prices she was asking for. I think I'll do as you say and go for the free stuff and leave the rest thereby preserving family harmony!

BF has offered us a baby bath, moses basket and seat thing on loan (they're hoping for another) which to me is the way it should be!

    Hi Ladies
We need to get back to SIL tonight about some baby stuff she's offering. I just wanted to get opinions on whether it's worth saying yes or not? I'm hoping to BF but not sure if I should bet the bottle stuff just in case?

Baby Bjorn active front carrier & rain cover - £25
Play arch / gym - Free
    Brst Pump £10

Tommee Tippee Bottles / teats - Free
    Bottle holder / warmer x2 - £10
